    Pieps Jetforce 34 Battery Cells

As some of you may already know, BD does not offer battery replacement for the Pieps Jetforce packs (mine is the 2018 model) and as with most rechargeable batteries, they need to be replaced after few years since they will eventually no longer hold a charge.
That's precisely what's happening to my bag. The bag is in great condition and I refuse to throw away a prefectly great bag or demote it to just a regular bag by gutting out the airbag components in it because Black Diamond sucks balls. This is gonna effect a lot of ppl as there are still a lot of ppl who use this bag.

Couple of ppl here have suggested that I can find the battery cells through this Japanese company (no further info on name, and etc was given) and replace them myself.
Does anyone know where I can find this battery cells?
    Any information would be helpful.

My older model but still a brand new pack is still with BD for battery warranty work since summer.
I've already got two Arc'teryx Voltair packs with dead batteries and just bought 22.2 LiPo batteries and they work just fine. And the weight is way less than OEM.

Look for an electric bicycle battery rebuilder.

Found this website maxamps.com and they gonna try to replace the battery cells and run diagnostics to see if everything works. They guy seems very cool (Matt) and he was very helpful. They have the battery cells but we gonna find out whether or not it's gonna all work out when they receive the backpack and try. I'll keep you guys posted.

Make sure they use high quality batteries and deploy your bag often for testing. There's lots of badly rebuilt packs. Keep the battery in the charger when not using it and do not let it sit empty.

PSA: Lithium ion batteries last MUCH longer if you don't store them fully charged. 1/3 to 1/2 charge is best.
Heat also makes them lose capacity much more quickly.
You'll get many more years out of the batteries if you partially discharge them for the off-season and don't leave the battery in a hot garage or shed.

Was MaxAmps able to get your pack working again? Sorry that this is such a late reply, but my pack died this spring. Thanks!
