Any info on the fit of those Sodas SET socks? With a size 11.foot.inna 27.5 shell, looks like I would be on the breakpoint of.L vs XL

I would go XL. I have the Large (42-43) and my foot measure 27.7 on a Brannock, I wear a 43 Sidi bike shoe and a 26.5 in most ski boots, and the Large is close to its limit (but my feet are quite wide, which also is a factor).

I got some of the Costco heated socks last week. I was a little concerned about the thickness around the toe and they felt a little strange when I first tried them on around the house.

Had them out on snow this evening for a couple of hours and they were just fine. No issues with the wire routing or fit around the toes. It was really warm out so the heating wasn’t really needed.

For $39 they were a surprisingly good fit for me.

For others curious about bootcaps. I’ve been using them since the new year. While they certainly don’t turn your boots into toaster ovens. They do take the edge off and imo are worth it.

Yeah, agree. It’s the fancy, insulated version of duct tape over the toe basically…

Any durability or adhesive issues for yours? I am curious to see how long they last

So far so good on durability. I’d imagine if you boot pack a bunch that could lead to issues.

My toes would have been frozen today at the Bird without my Lenz heated socks.
For those that have worn the 5.1 and the 6.1 how much difference is there between the two?

Interested in this. I'm moving to zipfits and probably going to go with socks instead of insoles.

I got the Lenz 6.1 socks with rcb1200 batteries for my wife. She's been having issues with battery life - even on Level 2 (stated capacity of 7-10hours) she found one of the batteries dead within 2 hours. This was on a ~0 F day, so obviously battery life impacted, but pretty disappointing for the cost. I contacted the company and they are sending 1 new battery to see if it was a bad unit, but has anyone else had this issue? Did I mess up by not paying up for the 1800 model?

Two hours is definitely not right. I got around 4 hours on 2 or 3 with the 1200 batteries, which wasn't sufficient. Switched to 1800 batteries and they run for around 6 hours.

Resurrecting this. How's everyone still been happy with their lenz 6.1's? Thinking of getting those with the 1800 battery for my wife. Does the compression make the socks hard to get on or is that manageable? Does the compression just make them fit better in boots?

    How did they work out?

    Interested in these for sure.

Timely bump. Realizing that my left big toe gets cold / numb really easily now after nearly frostbiting it last year to the point my nail partly fell off. So now considering the old man heated sock option again. How are these holding up for everyone

use code cyber20 at the warming store.

Just ordered the Lenz 1800 batteries for my socks. I have the 1200's and will likely let them go here.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

I got the Lenz 6.1 with the 1800 batteries last year of this board.
    I'd only give them a 5 out of 10.
This was my second pair, the first gen batteries crapped out in a year.

Got the Thermic socks last year and total gamechanger. Combined with Intuitions I’m finally comfy standing in the snow all day at the kids’ Freeride comps [emoji91][emoji91]

Also interested to hear how the Sidas SET worked out. I've discovered that my Morton's neuroma is much worse with cold feet and I am exploring all options. I need a sock that is as thin as a thin Darn Tough and it sounds like these would be the ticket in that regard? LENZ 6.1 is thicker or no?

I would need these primarily in touring boots but ability to use them in bounds would be a bonus.

I had one of the 'pops' in my foot Saturday that almost brought me to my knees. When that happens nothing feels too expensive, because at this point it seems like find a solution or quit skiing.

I have dancer pads in all of my footwear, and have had some success using toe spreaders intermittently (while at work or sometimes sleeping) for Morton's neuroma, but yeah - way worse when cold

Went to try mine earlier (Costco kind) and they seem to have died. I think the batteries are fine but something in the sock broke. So, buyer beware on those. Also, they're too thick.
    No longer stuck.
