Top speed of 65mph. Little disappointed. I was hoping to get at least 70 mph.
As we cycled through pinion gears, we began to see a top speed level off in the 60s, but motor temps continued to climb. We were definitely hitting the range of diminishing returns.

Couple mechanical failures, pinion gears falling off, stripping set screws, dog bones popping out, but we were able to collect data for 11t, 13t, 14t, 15t, 17t, 18t, 19t pinons.
    It was cold as balls.

The boy learned a lot, and he has a bunch of ideas on how to make the experiment better controlled, and has ideas on what we learned, and what other tests we could do to further improve the performance of the car.
    sigless.

What about varying wheel diameter and tires? Get a shit set and fill 'em with expanding foam?
