    WTF..explosiv length related

…..scored some hot flaming explosivs…190s …they’re @ 3cm shorter than some 190 atomics that I own…I’ve measured the lengths on four pair of skis here straight off the floor and then by following the contour of said skis…none of them hold true to their stated length, but a 190cm explosiv is a damn short 190…not that I’m complaining..yet.
What is the real method to arrive at the "stated" length of the ski?.... yeah, I did the search...

some companies measure top sheet lenght tip to tail, some measure the in air distance, some measure the base distance.

Some include the twin tip, some don't (shoudl they anyways if this is in the air)

soft skis will ski shorter, and more sidecut will make the ski turn more (Ski shorter) and if you are mounted ahead of senter they will turn quicker too.

    got it

why do you care what they measure anyways?

you're right ml, those are my thoughts also, but now they're in my den next to my other skis... can't wait to get on em....
the other thing is a buddy of mine wants a 180 fat/stiff ski so i've been looking to find him 180 explosives which, after receiving mine, am now thinking will be too short for him...he's a fairly big guy
    thanks for the input ml
