did the search and found some info but no real feedback on how these ski. called a shop today to order some gotama 183's but they were all out - rep said he had the elan m999; skiied it himself and was really impressed with it. i'm going to unload my 181 lawnchairs this week (too soft for me) and was about to order the volkls when this elan thing came up - anyone have a good or bad thing to say about the M999's?

Pretty friggin soft. However ive only flexed em in a shop. Supposedly they are really damp, sorta like b3s. Beautiful skis though

that's what the rep said......the faster he went in the crud, the more stable they were. and yah, they did good in the graphics dept.
