    2000something AK rocket pro model?

I remember these from a few years back but cant find anything by searching.

they are the 195 green/yellow graphics with the funky tip and supposedly stiffer than the noodly 190s that i used to have. Anyone ski these? I may have a good deal on some and would like some recommendations. Point me towards a review if there are any, i couldnt find anything with normal searches.

that's cause they don't exist or something like that.

btw. they are NOT the 00/01 200cm ak rockets. (does anyone have one of them ? ) they have the same design, but are of a later date. i think 01/02 something. and they are 195.
the green 200cm ones are the same as the yellow noodles.

I owned them (bought them off of this forum). It's a nice ski, so much stiffer than the old yella ones. For that matter, it's stiffer than the orange ones that they have made for the last few years. I have had no sidewall issues and neither has the present owner....he beats the shit out of them.

Having said that, there aren't too many skis that are made like that any more. I think that current ski design has long surpassed the stage of those skis.

    I wouldn't pay much more than $200 w/out bindings.

Has there ever been any discussion about why Salomon named a ski the AK Rocket that was a similar ski to the K2 AK Launcher? Rocket...Launcher. Rossi should have named the XXX the AK Torpedo or the AK RPG or something. You know, in keeping with the theme & all....

I used to have a pair, they are very stable at high speed and love big turns but were just a little long and stiff for my 5'10'' frame. They ski nothing like any other salomon I've been on, much beefier. I liked em but sold them to fund the iggies

I can't believe nobody's made a 147mm-tipped fat ski called the AK-47 yet. However, money says the day is coming.
