Gimme a dolla! (MSP Denver related)

So who's in for Monday's MSP show at the Gothic?

Heading off tomorrow for vacation and returning Monday right before the show, so wondering where the pre-game drinking will take place.

Doors open at 7pm, so we should probably get there by then to get good seats. Pre-game festivities I assume will start at 5pm at a bar near the Gothic. I know that Pinner and Lemon were talking about some bar around there that they liked.

truth be told that pool hall is really a bowling alley...I think I need to open a bar in that neighborhood every time there is something going on at the Gothic it is painfully clear there is nowhere decent to meet.

Yeah you right! November 4th at the Oriental is going to go offski.

We're still working on the details, but we'll be hosting the Denver premiere of a new film made by a couple of rock star Wasatch tele-rippers. We've got a shit-ton (this is more than a shit-load) of really good shwag for the raffle. Working on lining up a band and that same night there's a big old street party up and down Tennyson St.

Denver and Boulder maggotses have no excuse to miss this one. More details are coming, so stay tuned.

(pre-drinks locale is NOT Table Steaks and NOT the bowling alley. we'll be meeting at the grotty watering hole a half-block east of Table Steaks, right near the alley, across from the supermarket parking lot. If you don't believe me, drive by there some time. EngleBillies are a surreal bunch.)

board see pinner's description of the pool hall.

as for the FOBP movie, go watch the trailers: http://www.powderwhore.com/film.html

in addition to ripping all of these guys are simply the nicest and humblest bunch of nut skiers you'll meet.

I think I can make that. On another note,Pinner give me a call if you're looking for a band.I've got a 4 piece rock outfit or acoustic duo.I've got references , CD's & demos for both projects & a song list. You can also go to www.hmlmusic.com to hear Hot Monkey Love's CD & a few of the covers we play.

Gaffney wasn't there, which tells me that he's welching on his debts.

Tonight was fully tame by maggot standards. Just a quick shwag grab, a great film, a few beers and some fast heyhowzitgoingseeyarealsoon's. Great turnout. Missed a whole lot of you, but was thrilled to see the ones who came out. Seems I'm around a lot of my oldest maggot buddies lately.

Got me pretty psyched for the TGR show on Oct 5 and also for PW05 coming up Nov 4 at the Oriental Theatre. More details to come on that one, which I promise will be a very fun event.

Hit List is WAY BETTER than Yearbook IMHO! Much more powder,& less jibbing.A couple of suprises,No Seth this year,& Shane gets hurt.Hugo skis some cool lines as always.Lots of deep powder shots! Ingrid rips it up & looks fabulous doing so,but it didn't have the shock factor of seeing a woman throw down that Yearbook had when she rips those steep faces & throws the big back flip.As always in any movie associated with Gaffney, there are always hilarious segments.

Yeah what a difference a year can make. It was a fun time if sober event. I wasn't drinking tonight & arrived after the bar get together,Lemon boy was with his missus and was so sober ,I barely recognised him.

Good seeing the rest of the gang.I'm stoked for TGR's premiere.

I enjoyed Hugo's segments - he actually threw a 3! Ingrid is still killing it. I liked Pep's segment alot too - that huck was huge. Mike Wilson's Lincoln off the rail was sweet.

The crowd was really quiet though. A guy stomps a huge huck or picks a great line - no one cheers but then Rory Bushfield jumps into the some freezing water and everyone is like, Oooohhhhh! WTF is up with that?

Film was good. As freshies247 said, alot less jibbing (which is neither good or bad to me). Wasn't really into the music selection though, but hey everyone has different tastes.

Sat. night in Bldr was eerily quiet as well, the big kids show was anyway. I kinda left thinking, meh. Hugo, Pep and Ingrid big thumbs up. Close your eyes and look at her stuff not knowing how cute she is or sits down to pee. She is way all that. It was alright, not great, alright. God yes less jibberjabber better lines, thought the Rahlves thing was funny. The guy has less personality than my shoes though. Sheesh, was expecting him to say, I love lamp at any time.

Eric Pollard-pbbbtt I heard fat skis are dumb anyway.
