Looking pretty tasty down at Ikon-land!

The Epic Hwy2 resort had the best coverage of the season today (they finally groomed out all the weird bumps and random mogul fields), but it was anything but soft. Mostly groomers which were quite firm and fast, but able to set an edge. I’ve never seen a New Years Day this empty. Here’s a photo of Hogsback and Skyline lift lines at 11:00 am:

The word on the street is to avoid Stevens due to all the open creek holes and low coverage. I keep spreading the word and it seems to be working.

Praise be! I'll be happy with even half of that forecast panning out.

Ugh, you are such a tease NOAA!

Was planning to golf up in Bellingham this weekend, looks like I’ll need to trade the clubs in for the skis.

I'm doing my part by heading out of town until the 13th. We usually get this when I'm out over Christmas Break, but I'm glad to see the tradition continuing.

I'll be gone over the weekend, too...so I hope to claim an honorable mention. However, I will be back in time to enjoy next week, so your efforts and sacrifice for the greater good are acknowledged!

Late January is always notorious for a dry spell, so hopefully this storm cycle at least will makes things substantially better in case that happens.

Wait, does that mean I should be "Sus" or "rizzed"?

Neither. My thorough research indicates that "we are so fucking back."

It's dumping up at the Summit right now. I'm hoping this storm will be enough to get Alpental open. Then SVS can stop harassing them on Instagram. [emoji6]

I've been getting a kick out of his consistent "open alpental" comments in all their shit.
