Snoqualmie has power out and is/was running on backup power, so no night skiing tonight. We will see how long it takes to restore power.

I'm impressed they've kept 90 open this long... Fingers crossed for Thursday!

I had a really good time at Stevens today. Lifts opened, lifts closed, many excellent laps were had. So much fun.

I was surprised this morning when I saw Stevens Pass is completely closed but I-90 is bare and wet with no restrictions!

Rough start early. The goods are good. Further photo-faffing limited by pea soup up high but it's clearing...

Crustal really needs a mobile tapas station in the middle of all that. They could make a killing.
Especially if there's another gas leak.

They did have employees selling beers to people in line during the covid days.

Pretty damn good day . Some bottomless turns too be had . Typical nw powder , not super light and a bit of work after it was cut up. I did four top to bottoms . Legs we’re done at 12:30. Had a fun time skiing a lap with MR and Mrs Dromond .

Huskydoc's pic is the story of the day really.

The turns were very good, but there were very many people. Both Chinook and the Gondy were delayed opening which is part of the line accumulation. We went to FQ and did TLC tree laps until C6 opened. Unlike the long (but orderly and efficient) lines on C6 over the weekend it was a frothing scrum to get to the corral at C6 today.

Couple laps there. Then went to Powder Bowl for some surprisingly good turns. Then went looking at some things that we could see with tracks in them, but which were clearly the result of rope ducking. Went back to TLC trees a time or three, I lost track.

Good day, but weirdly, Saturday and Sunday were better.

Anyone make it to Stevens today? Headed up tomorrow for some storm skiing and hoping some fun turns in the trees.

Fuck me. And fuck that. Thing #2 came home pretty thrashed. Said rope ducking was the order of the day off 6.

Hope to be up there for some evening/night skiing if you feel like sticking around.

Close one…reversed Asym BGs are bad luck or is it just personal preference?
