I guess the joke played better in my head. Jo Koy understands.

At some point it occurred to me "Hey, Alec Baldwin is slowly turning into Charles Durning before my very eyes", and I thought that was kinda funny, in ways both ha-ha and weird. Actually I had at one point filled the left panel with a picture of Ryan Gosling, who I thought/think has a remarkably similar vibe to the very young Alec Baldwin. Maybe that would have made for a less cryptic triptych.

Whether cut flowers, plucked fruit, or however else you want to think of it, we tend to change over time in predictable and unavoidable ways. Ya gotta laugh, lest you cry, I guess.

Alex B would not be fit to be in the same room or country for that matter with Charles Durning.

David Mamet apparently disagrees. Or did at one point, anyway.

That was made 25 years ago! That's a sign for sure, for sure.
