Lots of great games today. The balance of March should be truly mad.

Will be impossible to try to “actually” fill out brackets this year….The winning brackets will be pure luck…

Good luck….see you all in the Maggot Bracket thread.

and the curtain is drawn on pac-12 basketball. such a fkn shame above all else. some of my fondest memories not just in sports but in life are those nights the old man and i stayed up to watch the late games, enamored by how outrageous Walton was on the call. always been sentimental about those times. thank you, conference of champions.

I'll be pulling for Vermont in that one. Duke does seem pretty vulnerable this year.

Oregon doesn't look all that good, with three starters out, but Dante...holy hell, that kid is dominant.

Payton Pritchard was on the Ducks. I like what he does off the bench in Boston. So I have a slight fondness for OU.

Dante went full Bill Walton last night. A lifetime without a center and now the Ducks have a big man and only 7 other scholarship players 🤯

I think I’ll be watching more of the women’s games this year. Texas women got a huge break. Iowa not so much.

I have never been a Dante fan , totally disappointing, injury plagued career in Eugene but he definitely won that game for them. Hopefully he doesn't revert back to the 3 fouls in the first 7 minutes and the rest of the team decides to go 6-26 against SC. Shelsted is not lacking in confidence and if he can get going they have a decent chance in the first round. Kwame Evans has had some brief flashes and if somehow he can produce it might get interesting. Anything is possible during this time of year with momentum and confidence to win a couple games at the big dance.

It's UofO or UO. OU is flat and smells like despair.

These First Four games are unwatchable and a testament to how Steph Curry’s immense talent at shooting the ball has ruined the game.

21-18 and almost halftime and so far all these kids have shown they can do is toss up airballs and front iron bricks from 30’ away. If they even get inside the arc they kick it back out to the logo so someone can get their shot.

This one has gotten pretty good I’d say.

That game was a brickfest of unparalleled proportions.

Glad St John’s and Providence and every other competent team were left out so we could see more of that.

In fairness my UVA boys, who didn’t score a point in 59 minutes of real time, shot bricks from all spots on the floor.

Apparently Dayton, where the game was held, has sent Virginia an invoice for damages. I’m considering doing the same.

Radio host the next morning said that UVA set college basketball back a decade with that performance.

Oregon peaking at the right time. Win the last PAC12 championship and then a first rounder as an underdog. Sets up an interesting matchup against Altman's old team.

Dante was a force on O and D. Nice game by Couisnard. If the two stay healthy the Ducks could make a run.
