Always enjoy your TRs. I think they show the best part of biking, getting out and exploring new places. Definitely envious of your ability to do that kind of mileage and vert.

off your knees Louie
Hoping to have a revised 311 route ready for public consumption next year!
Yeah I've been really impressed with that area. The stuff in the Tushars north of 153 sees a lot of mtce for some reason. The rest of these forests not so much, but it adds to the adventure.
The Forest service guy I talked to before the trip asked me to call him back and let him know what the trail conditions were like. Still gotta do that, and I plan to mention the dogs. Govt agencies are risk averse and they'd no doubt be in the lawsuit if someone got bit. There was no signage to warn people like I've seen in other places in Utah. There's no excuse for not training the dogs to not approach people.
Thanks! Bummer we couldn't meet up. I ended up taking a different way back from NM.
It only hurts the next day for the first couple miles after a big ride. Then you just go numb. Ask me how I know : )
If you ride in Utah, you’ve encountered these dogs. They scare the shit out of me, and I’ve never heard of a bite, but man I hate them!!
