For attaching pics the only thing that seems to work is Tapatalk. I haven't tried hotlinking an image but IMG tags *probably* work.

Tapatalk works for photos on my phone. I can't do anything except view threads using the phone's web browser.

For photos on my computer I can post them using IMG tags. Can't attach pics or upload.

Absolutely. Most I've seen are on a 5yr plan max to make EBITA look all beautiful and dump. Doing so the companies are on the verge of collapse.

I hope he bought it back for pennies on the dollar -

Hey now, there are also PE firms that prefer to operate the business, concentrate regional market power, and jack up prices!

I can’t stop thinking about this bike but now you have me curious how much yours weigh? I sorta care [emoji38]
Which size(s) do you have? I assume a medium in the mix?

The Lady's size small comes in at 34lbs with a Fox 36, DPX2, Code brakes, canfield wheels and cranks (not real light), EXO+ tires, and a GX cassette. She'll get an XO cassete when that one wears out. Definitely weight to be saved if you want to go in that direction. My medium was about 35 with EXT Era front (heavy) and Storia Coil rear, Codes, Onyx hubs (heavy), EXO+ tires. My Lithium is just shy of 36 with that setup and a DD tire out back. Our builds have prioritised DH but gonna build my Tilt back up at 140/128 with a Fox 34 for a more XC bias.

Thanks-That is super helpful info on the builds and such.
I wouldn’t care so much about the weight except that I have to chase around the dear husband, so I need all the advantages I can get [emoji13]

I never thought that their bike project was going to have legs, simply too niche, IMO.

The pinkbike thing said frames are done and not restarting.

I blame it on the superboost rear ends.

I despise when any biz thanks me for my patience or understanding. I do not have patience for bullshit or any understanding of it, so fuck you.And I don't think "Sincerely" is an appropriate way to sign an email saying essentially "we are taking your money, it's gone youg talent". Probably written by AI, but who knows, you should never underestimate the low level of people working in the bike industry.

They're telling him they no longer control his money, which is not exactly what you said. They are also straight up telling him to start a chargeback with his CC company, so they are not just telling him to pound sand.

This - just dispute the charge and let the CC company handle the rest.

Yup--important lesson to always buy stuff like this with a credit card (large purchase, future date of delivery) and not a debit card, paypal, check, whatever.

The credit card company will get you your money back. The company legally cannot give you your money back (at least with US bankruptcy rules) as you are now in line with everyone else who is owed money/product. But the credit card company can give it to you and then either withhold that amount from what they currently owe YT, or add it to their own tab.

That being said, I'm seeing some discussion that YT USA is not part of this, so US customers might be OK? Although if YT Germany can't get their shit sorted out, the US side of things is probably cooked no matter what.

Damn, that sucks. Hope they get it back.
Must be a razor thin margin with the deals they were giving. Great bikes at a great price and N American, atleast, customer service was very good. People are holding on to their money during these uncertain times i guess. I've been waiting for the release of their new bosch emtb

Dunno about that, from how many we service in the shop that end up needing something directly from YT, they usually have to wait for seriously long lead times or a get long lag in communication. Direct sale brands come with a big question mark as far as actual support since you have no shop to help out. There&#39;s so much those brands can get away with (so as to not always help a customer by avoiding what they can) since they don&#39;t know the ins and outs of how the industry works. My shop is right next to RMU in breck who is doing a YT pop up shop and man the folks from the brand are the most anti bike community folks I&#39;ve ever encountered. It&#39;s all about money and trying to look rad, that&#39;s it.&nbsp;</p>
    <p>
Pretty hilarious YT is talking about &quot;discount wars&quot; when they&#39;re literally the cause of it as a direct sale brand.&nbsp;</p>

I would peruse a line of bikes at the LBS and notice ever so often a missing part cuz I notice that kind of thing, its cuz some customer broke a part or it failed or sft SO shop bro borrowed it and when prt comes in that show room bike will get fixed but the customer bike was fixed right away and that service is something the end loser pays for

I was the starter for a recent enduro so I had every bike of note in town lining up in front of me and there were a few riders on YT&#39;s saving $$$ for sure
