I’ve shared it several times here in different threads (who can have enough C&H content?) but my 9 y/o is in possession of my complete works, most save one or two are all 1st editions. He reads them in his lounge chair under his loft next to the bookshelf full of them and laughs his ass off.

Hopefully developing just as snarky of a wit as Calvin and a level-headed view of Hobbes.

I'll play. Today I was sneaking out of work early to play my favorite local 9 hole golf course. I booked the last tee time of the day. After a rapidly warm up on the range my time to tee off comes and there are 2 13 year olds waiting for me...they are both names Owen and my expectations are tanked. Not chance of playing through because the course is stacked ahead of us and a 4 some is in front.

Well I go on to shoot my personal best round. I shot a 5 over par. This is year one of golf for me. For reference I shot a plus 10 yesterday.

I asked google maps which way to go just in time to avoid a massive clusterfuck on 95 and had a pleasant drive through places I've never been before. Normally I would've just got on the highway but I had a feeling.

Yesterday, I got the renewal notice for my SiriusXM subscription.
Decided it wasn’t worth $276 per year
Contacted them to cancel
They offered to renew for $73/yr
I said OK

Back in June I had a terrible flying experience. Most of the time I just let it go, and chalk it up to it being part of flying. This time I went ahead and submitted a complaint to the DOT as I had let them fuck around long enough and it was time for them to find out.
DOT had the airline reimburse the original airfare, airfare with a different airline, food and hotel during that time, and threw in an additional $200. Check just showed up in the mail unannounced then I got an email explaining everything.

"If" you like XM/Sirius enough to want it next year, mark on your calendar when it expires and contact them telling them you want to cancel. They will offer the same deal. I am on year 5 of that plan.
