Well that's another reason not to eat oysters. Guy had one and died.

    I know, right? I’ve had hundreds, probably thousands, and I’m gonna die…someday, I guess. <knock wood>

Grilled oysters from Drago’s in New Orleans are the best oysters I’ve had (everything else at Drago’s has been mediocre at best).

I'm with Buster. Grilled oysters with garlic butter, and maybe a sprinkle of parm. I have only ever eaten one raw oyster many decades ago. One and done.

Some of my favorite books that I own. Oysters, and hot dogs, are some of my most sought after pleasantries.

Makers-- in which thread did I read your sig? "This is like hanging yourself but the rope breaks?"

Also, y'all are going on about oysters. Ever had octopus eggs?

    A Dating Dilemma

I may be slightly in love with this chef on Tik tok and here she is today making scallops and drinking Veuve straight from the bottle

Cooking oysters is a waste. Cooking bull testicles is not.

Can I love her too? Cause that’s hot.

I love tasting the ocean from raw oysters, no accoutrements, but a roast is a fantastic time and great eats.

I think it's there to keep the oysters away from the clams. They're enemies you know.

Grilled oysters with a fresh mignonette sauce are divine. Also with melted cheese on top.

Oyster stuffing? Oyster hand pies with a velouté and some veg?

    C'mon now.

    Eww. No butter?

We stand around a grill and bullshit while we work our way through the sack and get drunk, and keep the tongs away from Diana who can’t help but constantly fuck with them to the point that there’s no juice left and they’re bone dry. Raw is my preference, but soaked in butter and put on a saltine with some hot sauce is a pretty close second.

Fer chrissakes, Drago's is like a Louisiana version of the Olive Garden.

No, but little crabs are pretty common in the Rappahannock and Bay oysters.
