Salomon Course fit Vs. Pro model fit

Same? different? It seemed like the pro model would be okay. I have wide, flat, pronating feet and I stress nad fuck up all the muscles out so bad in my boots now becuase they are pronating in the boot while I'm skiing and I can't afford a custom footbed. So I'm going to make it so I can't let my feet pronate out to fuck up my feet. Anyway, so, I'm not sure why I explaned that. But are they really the same fit, pro model and the course. And what about the course x where does this fit in. Yeah. I'm done now.

I believe the promodel and course have very similar fits, you should be fine, they are a narrow last in general from salomon. By the way, explain your situation to the shop, they should be able to hook you up with insoles, you shouldn't be skiing without one, period. They help everyone with anykind of foot. Oh yeah, most shops will give you a foot bed for like 20 bucks if you buys a new high end boot, try that.

teh course and pro model are different. from what I've heard the course is a race boot, while the pro is last years 1080 stiffened up. The new 1080 is a new boot which is softer flexing for a more park oriented skier. i think this is all right.

Not quite. The Pro Model is the same last as the Course race boot, but softer and with a shock absorbing footbed and tongue. It has the same CF Pro liner and canting and whatnot as the Course boot. The 1080 boot is based on the X-Wave shell and is quite a bit wider, with no fancy liner, a dinky little power strap, and no canting, but it says Sweet Badass or something on the heal.

The ProModel flex is 95 while the 1080 just got bumped up to 85 this year. The Course is 130 for comparison. If you have wide feet, the ProModel is not the boot for you.

Did you know my boots weigh 13% of me seldon?!?! Or not... Who cares.

Why don't you save your dad some money DINMS and keep your old boots and get a nice expensive footbed made for them?? I bet that would work much better, and maybe you can sweet talk him into a 4th or 5th pair of skis.

Thats what I thought, but I didn't quite remember.

I thought I did too, until I crammed my foot into a Salomon ProModel this winter. I pretty much swim in the new Lange Comp 120's, but I could make them work if it was necessary. The ProModels are quite a bit narrower than the Langes, and stiffer too.

ditto -- i was a lange girl, and was about to buy rossi storm trooper boots, because the new lange 120 was too flat an instep even for me.

but i ended up in (womens) x-wave 8.0's. [i know mens x-waves are supposedly wider than course/pro - not sure how it translates to womens boots.]

the "sensifit" design and the heat molded liners are no joke - the heat mold made a huge difference and expanded the liner into some loose points around the ankle. so far, i love them!

Yeah, I 'm buying these, if I do, Bakerbitch. (Do you even have a real job, by the way, or do you just steal money from your drunk freinds while they are...drunk?) And screw costom footbeds. My foot will just grow again anyway...Tissue paper in the socks is where it's at.

What about the 00 model "course X" model? What the hell is up with that?

if you're not going to go custom, at least throw a $20 pair of superfeet in there. i did it until my feet have (at least temporarily) stabilized at size 11. now im looking for whole new boots. but superfeet vs. stock is like a whole new world.

and tissue paper in socks sounds horrible. i hope you were joking...

What do you mean, "these"?! Which boot are you talking about? Best of luck with the ProModels, because your feet are gonna hurt. You have more skis than me, so don't worry about who gives me free shit.

If your feet are growing, that's all the less reason to buy nice boots and get some better footbeds instead.

I still demand pics of your mom and/or sister.

Yeah...so you don't have a job...okay....and who doesn't have superfeet. It it was the bootfitter that recomended the Pro model bakerboy. I would think he knows at least more then you. I can just pick up some courses for very cheap whereas the pro models are too expensive. You act like I'm a spoiled rich kid. I'm not dude. Get it though your your head.

Speaking of head try the head world cup two widths the WC 103 and the WC 97 or 93 i'm not sure great fit. Oh and Also FOOTBED FOOTBED FOOTBED. Save the cash, Moe the lawns, Sell Drugs do what it takes their worth the money. I got the same problem you do with the pronation, And havin a neutral foot in the boot helps performance a lot the main difference between the salomons is the volume of the liner

Oh yea don't take recommendations from anyone, most people tell you to buy a boot because that’s what they have been given or what they bought, try all of them on. Don't be loyal to any brand. The only thing that matters is what your feet have to say. Any shop worth a shit will let you try the boots on with the trim to fit super feet’s

What, I thought shop guys were the MOST SMARTEST guys around?! How could I NOT trust some little shit head kid with zits who thinks they know everything about boots, especially in the huge ski metropolis of the greater Bellingham area? You're parents probably know what's best for you also DINMS, but do you listen to them? Obviously not....

What the hell are you taking about? Just trying to make the point that my qeastion is well founded, and you come in here with...that... what the hell is wrong with you?

And where did you get that you have to trust me about boots, honsestly I know nothing about boots and I hate the boots that I have. I have not found one good thing about them. I have the cash to pick up a pair of courses. And all I know is that the boot dude said that the Pro model would work and these courses are supposedI'm thinking to start making a new computer first.

The point that I'm trying to make is that you can just fuck off BB. I don't really care about your opinon or or what you say so give whatever it is you are trying to do up.
