So you are saying I can buy this equipment and reforge my Revved frame if it ever breaks? Of course it will be toilet paper and drywall mesh tape, but still...
You should have been here yesterday!
This is a bummer, glad I bought mine from Marshall and not full price. I like the thermoplastic carbon as a concept and the made in USA ethos but those are both nerd points.
It’s a great bike for me but some of the design compromises are interesting. The reach adjust headset looks too weird in short mode, and the geometry compromises with the single frame and chainstay choices lead to some weird combos. Rocker link Horst links also give you more progression, less anti rise and more water bottle space compared to the horizontal layout. I think the next 1-2 years will be carnage across the bike industry as the Covid overbuys drop margins and volume at the same time.
I want to pivot from working for the man to starting a company in the next few years and this is adding to my reasons why it shouldn’t be a bike industry company.
Yep. The email I got from the auction house references ‘by order of state receivership’.
The auction list is wild. From CNC machines to rolls of Toray carbon to office chairs.
There is language on the frame machines/molds that speak to purchase of the patents.

Shimano might be too big to fail and all that but anyone read about them telling some ransomwear guys to get fucked so a ton of their info got leaked? Im probably butchering the terminology there but sounded like a pretty big deal that could seriously injure a company.
