Free for shipping dura ace 8 speed brifters

I am going to give these to the local gear hub that rehabs bikes, but thought to ask if anyone wants an old pair. Hoods are in good shape and they seem to function well. The chrome is crappy. I got them as part of a group from a guy who was upgrading. No pictures at the moment.

Be aware the DA 8 speed stuff uses a different cable pull ratio and requires the specific 8-speed DA derailleur to properly shift. That said, this was peak Shimano. If I had an 8 speed DA derailleur I'd be all over these.

I had a steel Basso with DA8 and it was downright dreamy. I think I liked it better than my DA9 brifter / Ultegra der combo!

DA 8 shifters can work with a DA 9 derailleur; there are two different anchor points for the cable, one for 8 and one for 9. If someone asks nicely, I can go into the garage to see what I did. They are peak Shimano; mine shift fine after...several years.
