Side rant. Hate it when my lbs sells small supplies for 20% plus over msrp. I want to buy from you but fuck that shit.
Yeah I hear you. Never really sold tools thankfully; just special orders.

But yeah, here we are! Should’ve known that I would get roasted on here… well, I knew I’d get roasted. So, working to adjust pricing accordingly and hopeful that will appease the masses (but seriously, hope it is within the ballpark of appropriate around here). Appreciate you, CS!

If I had to guess, I'd bet you're not gonna get a lot of takers on the generic small park hand tools, even at 50% off + shipping.

You'll get people who are like "sweet, I can finally buy that pro wheel truing stand or set of bearing presses" but how many people on here are going to get excited about a Y-hex wrench or Park-branded pliers? There's a nice set of Bondhus hex wrenches sitting in the Beer + Shipping thread because everyone already owns a bunch of hex wrenches--If it was a set of color-coded Wera or PB Swiss, someone would have snapped those up immediately.

Yeah, I was thinking about the wheel truing stand actually if the price came down, but also just got yelled at by the better half for spending too much on bike parts.

    Yeah I hear that’s a common occurrence.

Yeah you’re right. I feel like I shared that there are common things and some harder things to get.

Actually, I might be. I have two work spaces now and while I had doubles of some tools, not everything. I can make it work but walking back and forth between the garage and shop is annoying, but not quite annoying enough to spend full retail on nice tools that I already own one of. So I've been slowly picking stuff up when I find a good deal - which 50% off Park stuff would be.

Kudos for showing some thick skinidness and not running off all butt hurt.

Totally get it. I'm guessing the bigger picture story here is more like; Guy struggles to keep LBS afloat. Guy finally throws in the towel because labor of love became a loveless endeavor. Guy is unemployed and sitting on thousands of dollars in inventory that's already paid for, wondering how to sell. Wondering how to maximize the more-profit:less-work ratio while motivation is at an all time low.
    But maybe I'm wrong.
Edit: If you want to send the "Park Tool TS-2TA Axle Adaptor for TS-2/TS2.2" to 24019 for $15, PM me, I'm all in.

    Feeler: Bike Shop Tool Liquidation

Ok homies. After all the feedback (which I do appreciate), I have repriced the lot for TGR specifically. Should I start a new thread since this is a “feeler” post?

Edit: should I post to gear swap?
