    Nothing's For Free

I thought we had a bike movie thread in here somewhere, but search sucks and I couldn't find it.

Anyways, watched Nothing's For Free yesterday and it's a great re-hash of some of the more interesting periods of our sport. Lots of stuff that I was generally aware of, but either didn't know or forgot the specifics of. It's a bit more focused on interviews with industry notables than wall to wall action and radness, but there's still plenty of radness to keep it interesting, and it never drags. And Brage's whole section at the end is ridiculous, albeit short.

I also really enjoyed sitting down and watching long form bike content. I haven't done that in quite a while. I still watch a few new ski movies every year, but bike movies just aren't really a thing anymore, and that's a shame.

Wife and I watched it last night. Really enjoyed it.
It was cool to show her the Fro Riders we were supposed to ride with at the Sedona Fest.

I tried to log in to watch it last night, couldn’t. I thought I was an outside plus member with the Trailforks pro app but apparently not. How are you guys watching?

I'm in the same boat as you; was given outside plus access because I paid for trailforks pro. Not sure why yours didn't work - it let me in without issue. Although I did notice that my trailforks login was being wonky yesterday (in trailforks), so maybe it was just glitchy yesterday.

Hmmm I’ll give it another go. It could also be because I’m in canada, that has been an issue for stuff like that before

I watched it, enjoyed it. After seeing so many guys in it be so broken and destroyed, the Tippie and Taruk parts at the end were good.

I haven't followed him that closely because I'm not really into slopestyle, but has Semenuk not had any really bad crashes? He does some crazy shit, but also seems like such of a perfectionist, I could see him not doing something he's certain it will be clean.

That was way better put together than I had anticipated. Soe great history and clips in there.

Well worth the 1hr 45min watch.

    What platform?

I enjoyed The Moment, wasn’t aware of that period of bikes, it’s on RedBull TV for free.

I watched it this morning until 3:00 AM (couldn’t sleep), I never knew all of that about Tippie. Great success story so far.

That was incredible. Hard to choose my favorite between Nothing's for Free and Long Live Chainsaw. They were both extraordinary examples of what long-form bike videos can be.
