These are some of the worst skins ever. You couldn't pay me to use them. Love yourself and spend a bit more on something else.

I wasn't recommending the skins, just telling people they're cheap. I won't use G3, only Pomoca and BD MoMix.

But are these worse than the standard G3 nylon? Seems like they would be the same fabric just with the Backcountry goat on them instead of the G3 logo.

Either way, these would be ideal for somebody that's poor AF or just wants a pair of skins for the 1-2 trips into the sidecounty they do a year.

G3 skins have their place -- in a BRET bag. A Be Ready Every Time bag has skins, BSP, gloves, googles, a shell, poles etc that you throw in the car for when your friend named Bret inevitably forgets something critical and doesn't realize it til the trailhead.

Soon to be brought to market by another mag that is far more entrepreneurial than me.

G3 skins in that case are the proper punishment.

Just curious if backcountry.com will sue you if you use the word “backcountry” anywhere in your Instagram photo you take while using the skins?

See, I have these skins and I just thought it was me the few times I used them.
    No longer stuck.

I used the previous version of these skins and they were OK. Pomoca performed much worse for me.

I have a pair of G3 nylons like those and they are grippy and quite tough. HOWEVER: THE GLUE IS JUST HORRIBLE. Goopy. Sticks to everything. Hard to clean.

As someone said here once: "fuck these skins with the force of a thousand suns", or something along those lines. And I agree.

    You have been warned.

For those doubting how much these suck... don't.

However, a tube or two of BD gold label adhesive, a heat gun, and some elbow grease could have you in business for 50% off new decent skins.

Bonus side effect - you will probably get high as shit while hot scraping that toxic garbage.

Or if you’re lucky the glue will just pull straight from the skin when you remove the packaging. Like it did for me when I fell for the too good to be true pricing.

Stay far away from these skins

i thought these sucked because they used non-toxic eco glue, so you can't even get high scraping them.

Let's put aside the issue of the G3 skins-
I have expedition perks, apparently. How do I get 20% off?

I’ve tried a few different skins over the years, and honestly, glue problems are the biggest headache. I had a pair that were nearly impossible to separate in cold weather, and another that left residue everywhere. It’s frustrating when you just want to get going. When it comes to game skins, I prefer platforms where I can quickly buy and sell without hassle. If you’re into trading CS:GO or TF2 items, you might want to check out https://opmarket.com/. The instant transactions and variety of payment options make things way smoother.
