    RIP Milan Kundera

Literary legend, a bit messed up in the head, wrestled with inside demons and outside oppression, exposed all sorts of aspects of the human condition, tackled what it meant to be alive in this world, lost his birthright, got it back, became a communist, was expelled, became a communist again, was expelled again, exposed the communist machine, and wrote some of the finest novels ever put on paper. He wrote my favorite modern book (The Joke) and another of his books inspired one of my two favorite movies of all time (Unbearable Lightness of Being.) In my opinion, up until he passed away he was the greatest living author.

He mattered and I am thankful for what he added to the world.

RIP. I read Unbearable Lightness decades ago, don't remember it all, but remember that I liked it.

    And no, I don't read.
"fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ
"She was tossing her bean salad with the vigor of a Drunken Pop princess so I walked out of the corner and said.... "need a hand?"" - Odin
"everybody's got their hooks into you, fuck em....forge on motherfuckers, drag all those bitches across the goal line with you." - (not so) ill-advised strategy
