    Last time I was in Denver I put in some time at Steam. Tres hip. Excellent coffee. It’s practically across the street from the former Chez Rontele on south Pearl.

    Does anyone frequent The Bull and Bush? Near Wash. Park. Been there forever. Every time that I am in Denver, I drop in for Eggs Taos and a beer.

    <raises hand>

    Though I'm not sure I'd consider my attendance "frequent" - more like just occasionally. But I've been going there since the early-ish 90's. I generally get their fish-n-chips. Good pub grub.

    Thanks, but it looks like they close at 3, and I need someplace I can camp at until 5ish.

    That's called a brewery. GO to Trve, listen to metal, drink table beers, work, eat Nashville hot chicken.

    alas, I have to teach a class at 6pm, so drinking before that would probably be frowned upon. normally, I would just work in, ya know, my office, but it's closed for remediation work so looking for alternatives.

    Get the "Leighton's Special" - it's like chile-cheese fries except with jerk chicken and mango salsa.

    Be advised: it's a big appetizer.
