I had never heard of the Gini coefficient but Thinking Basketball's latest video - "The most balanced title team in NBA history" - covers it. It's exactly as it sounds, and their team balance is incredible. Unless I'm missing something it they should be just as strong next year, right? Seems like the year after is the question mark.

Good reputation, well liked, but beyond that it’s hard to have a strong opinion about an assistant coach.

Atkinson did well for the Nets. Had some truly awful teams but developed some players (including Levert and Allen) and got them to be competitive. But Kyrie and KD didn't like him (that should be a positive in my book).

I think Atkinson helped a few of the younger Dubs. He’s kind of an analytics type though, so may end up coaching more (but not exclusively)to the 3s/layups type of offense.

The more I listen to trade talks the more it’s becoming clear that this new CBA is an absolute mess.

For example, let’s say the Clippers and Miami wanted to trade Paul George for Jimmy Butler straight up. They both make just over 48 mil per but the salaries are slightly different by like 100k, and because Miami is above the apron they have to match exactly or it places them under a hard cap. That’s just dumb.
