    true.

I have small fires raging in the rear-delt area. I've swallowed so much ocean it hurts to pee.
I have mastered all major sporting activities to a high degree of mediocrity.

    Angry

My new name is Pepe Le Pew.

As a consolation for my local spot being 2 foot with 100 guys out, I found a twin-fin fish in the dumpster that someone threw out because the nose broke a couple of inches from the tip.

Ya, I can share the oh-my-arms sentiment.

I too thought the swell was a bit overhyped. Was in So. OC with decent S/SW exposure. Got maybe 1.5 hours Friday, nearly 4 on Saturday and 3 Sunday.

Good fun, but the waves were more fun than big. Didn't really get anything bigger than an occasional 6-8 footer. None of the 8-10 foot, occasional 12 that was talked about. (Maybe Trestles saw some of those sets? Mostly in the solid head high and fun range. Yesterday was super glassy all day which was awesome!

I surfed Bolinas yesterday. A little mushy but fun on a 9-6 boat. We drank beer and grilled bratwurst afterwards. My arms aren't sore.

On Friday, The Wedge had some decent sets in the early morning but Newport Point and 56th street weren't seeing much. Maybe too much west in this swell? The Wedge peak had shifted quite a bit as well. The side wave wasn't always working as it usually does.

As I drove south, I stopped by Brooks Street and didn't see much happening there either. Getting on the 5, didn't see anything at Doheny but only had time for a quick glance. By the time I got to Lowers, there were some overhead sets but nothing ginormous like they predicted.

Poo colored water at the Wedge:

I just ended up with a massive hangover Sunday morning (still surfed). We got a bottle of Hornitos and drained the whole thing between 3 guys as we sat around the campfire at San Simeon thinking how weak the whole swell was. Should of gone to SD.
Gave up on the bottle, give me the lobotomy.
