2021 Pivot Switchblade Large Pro XT build with Push Elevensix and extras
Moving on from the trusty Switchblade. I dont know if there is a better bike for the front range.
Everything you've read about this bike is true - it's an absolute machine on the trails. Flies down XC and singletrack, not afraid of the rough stuff - wants to go fast. With the added Cascade link ($385 new) and angleset, you get a true enduro bike that climbs as well as anything I have ridden. This specific build is basically a mini Firebird that climbs better.
Full XT build to lighten the load and remain durable along with extremely durable and high engagement XM 1700 wheels. Usual cosmetic marks for a mountain bike but nothing major or structural.
Frame: Pivot Switchblade in the desirable Mojave color, Wolftooth Angleset installed to slack bike out 1 deg for added stability.
Fork: Fox Factory 36 160mm Grip2, lowers service just completed
Shock: Push Elevensix, huge improvement to the composure of the rear end of the bike, makes any rock garden almost disappear. I have a Sprindex spring for any weight from 160lbs to 240lbs.
Cassette: Shimano XT 10-51T
Shifter: Shimano XT
Brakes: Shimano XT, fresh bleed
Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT
