Haha. I honestly don't know where those hills exist. But those 197s would be a hell of a lot of fun with 5mm of camber and long, low rise tip and tail rocker. And FL113 construction.

    That might the best option.
Will stand on them and do some carpet "skiing".

I moved my 192 up to -11 from -12 and prefer them there. They feel more balanced. Esp in the air and do not require me to be in such a forward racer stance all the time while giving up nothing.

Those look so badass. Get away from the crowds in the steeps, pop the headphones in and just obliterate any/all conditions. Seem like the perfect Squaw chargers, I can't wait!!

My 186cm R105s showed up yesterday afternoon. Good Lord they are beautiful, the fit and finish is top notch(like all HL skis). I mounted them @ -11 per Marshal’s suggestion, I ski in Lange rx130s and zipfits. The camber(lack of) is perfect, the flex is stout but not too stout. I see these things as a day after powder day soft chop destroyer. The R120 beta, FL113 and the R105 all share the same profile but different flexes, really neat, should be super intuitive switching between them all.
I’ve been waiting for this ski for over a year now, Bravo Marshal! I’m pretty sure there isn’t another production ski like this on the market.

I forgot to add: the hand tune they received from MO looks great. They are ready to rip out of the box.

That R105 profile has me R105 curious in a big way since I love the FL105 but wondered how a looser version would be.

I think so. Give us some more of the good stuff! (info)

I got the R105s as loose beasts for shitty conditions through barely soft conditions. Workhorses, for once the mountain gets filled in. I doubt mine will see any pow or chop unless they get lucky. For the 5 crappiest, iciest, crustiest days of the year, I'll bring out my Blackops 98s/M4 Mantras, but other wise I plan to put a lot of time on R105s in crud.

I plan on using FR110s for packed soft snow to about a foot. I gonna have to figure out a wider HL for deep resort days.

Lol, MO pinged me a while ago trying to entice me. My ski purchase funds are dry for the season unfortunately. With the FL116 and the R110 new to the stable. Plus new bewts. Ugh.

I have a similar feeling on the one pair of R110s that popped up in stock. Speaking of which, someone please buy so I can't

Skied my r105s this last weekend. Conditions were not ideal for testing. Firm and overcast is a hard way to find the speed limit lol. Everything was boilerplate/sun baked but I still had fun. Sunday was completely different, sunny and 10/15* warmer. The snow actually softened up and visibility returned. Holy cow these things are fast! Super stable, definitely notice the long turn radius. The best part is the tails and how easily they release for moguls/skiing off piste, unlike the fl105 where you needed to finish the turn. I’m 6’1” 200lbs for me the 186s are perfect. Super fired up to get these out the day after a pow day to slay chop.

My C105s have been great so far, I was worried about dropping down to a 178 but no concerns with stability yet and they're a joy on the uphill. Now we just need more snow so I can see how they do in 3D snow rather than windboard or dawn patrol groomer fitness skinning.

11 months later I got my wish, I haven't been excited for a daily driver in a long time.
Three fundamentals of every extreme skier, total disregard for personal saftey, amphetamines, and lots and lots of malt liquor......-jack handy

I’ve had 6 days straight on mine and I love them. There is no chill mode but they deliver the mail. What length? ^
