I am thinking this quiver setup would handle 90% of my inbounds ski days:
1. Sender Free 110 184cm
2. Black Ops 118 186cm (Sender Free 118 next year?)
Sender Free 110 184cm will be my daily driver. Will opt to use these over the BO118s when conditions are soft but fresh snow is shallower than my boot tops.
Not opting for the SF 191cm length because it seems the primary benefit of the longer length is stability. I think the SF 184cm length will give me a more chill day-to-day experience and maximize playfulness. Will also mount on the rec line and not back since the BO118s will be the dedicated POW skis. I can bring out the BO118s when I want stability and want to mob through chopped up conditions or powder. Would mount the BO 118s farther back since they're dedicated pow sticks.
Thoughts?
Ask me in a few months - that combo + 182 BO98 will be my main skis for 23/24.
I have a pair of 110s that is mounted on the line / at rec, and a second pair at -2 from rec. The Bo98s are on the line, BO118 at -2 from rec. I will also run some RES skis from ON3P for the days that have wetter / denser snow.
I have high hopes - the combo of shape, construction and mount point seems golden to me.
What’s your size as unless you’re 160lbs or less and have a Centered stance and/or spin, I wouldn’t be on the rec line on the 184cm(measures only 181.5cm) Sender Free 110. The 191cm would of course be more stable then the 184cm but mounted back a bit, the 184cm would improve stability and carving capability while still being very playful.
Most directional skiers would go a similar amount back on the 184cm Sender Free 110 and 186cm BO 118.
FWIW, I’m 145 lbs, 5’8” and have rally liked the SF 184 mounted -2.5 from recommended. Still super quick in tight spots, floats great and can drive the shovels in a carve.

I'm ~175 and 5'11 butt nekkid. I think Kid-Kapow's review will heavily influence my mount point decision. I think I would be happy on the line or farther back. I do tend to get along better with progressively mounted skis when they're a bit shorter than what I would normally ski. I find excessively long tails kind of annoying.
Have you ever felt like they've folded up on you? Does the flex feel fairly progressive or is there a definitive hinge point on the ski where it all of a sudden gets more stiff?
Did not feel like they folded or had a weird hinge point. Flex felt medium+ and progressive.

I have two days of various snow conditions on the SF 110 191CM mounted -2CM back from rec (-5.5CM total). I’m 6ft 180lbs expert skier.
To me, these skis remind me a lot of the 190CM moment wildcat I have. The are super duper easy to pivot, stable but also have some good energy/pop. The main difference is that the ski is obviously narrower but also feels less stiff in the tips and tails. It also carves wayyyy better and is generally more versatile that the wider wildcat. Haven’t had them in super deep pow but I’m sure they will be just fine based on all the reviews.
I have no regrets about mount point and given the not super stiff tips, like having some length in front of me versus behind me for tight spots, trees and moguls.
If you spin, land switch or have a strong freestyle background I’d say stick to rec line and you’ll be pumped.
If you have a directional background and tend to really like skis mounted about -6CM to -9CM then you will not be disappointed with this ski at -5.5CM. It felt awesome and totally intuitive to me at that mount point.
I really really like these skis and am super happy with my purchase! They lived up the the hype!!
lots of good insight wrt mount point in this thread (like the past few posts) and in the Blister review

I suspect I will prefer the -2 mount. We'll see if the #forscience experiment will have a surprising outcome.
Great hearing all these positive reviews on the Sender Free 110!
Knew I’d like it after seeing how close it was to the 21 CT 3.0 in dimensions and how similar it was to the shape, rocker profile and flex pattern of the Blackops 118.
The flex is just a bit stiffer throughout than the Blackops 118 and most noticeable in the tips/tails. Very symmetrical flex and a more gradual change from the softer tip/tail sections compared to skis like the Wildcat that are actually softer on the extremities but ramp up sooner and more quickly. Find my BO 118 much easier in the bumps than my Wildcats along with being better carvers so sold the wildcats last month.
Like the Blackops 118, the narrowest width/sidecut Center of the ski is around -8cm from center with an incredibly slow rise in width back and forth from there. So not as sensitive some other skis when it comes to mount points.
The regular Sender Line mounts are around -8cm back from Center so with the twin tail, more symmetrical sidecut and increased tail rocker, the Sender Free 110 will still be plenty playful at -2cm to -3cm(-5.25cm to 6.25cm.
For Kid-Kapow and any owners of the Ssnder Free 110 or BO 118 as they have similar top sheet types-Be sure to round the tips/tails edges above the widest points(above effective edge) with a file and stones so that it won’t effect grip but will help with topsheet damage.
I also take a sanding block on a 45 degree angle lightly to the topsheet to again help with top sheet chipping.
My first set of Blackops 118 were VERY rough on that topsheet edge tip/tail and the edges still sharp on the very tip/tail. Would have been very prone to chipping.
I'm curious - for any folks that loved the Black Ops Sender Ti...the 106 waisted one...how do you like the 110 free? Particularly, if you prefer more directional skis? I'm thinking this would be a great ski for all the soft days at Snowbird...so basically, any time except super firm, when I can use my mantra. Thanks!
You were asking about the Sender Squad on the other thread weren’t you?
I immediately thought of the 191cm Sender Free 110 even mounted around the -2cm area on that ski for your size. A bit lighter and easier to ski than the 194cm Squad would be but more mass, float, stability and added rubber damping than the Sender 106Ti. Could mount closer to rec mount on the Sender Free 110 if you wanted it to be more playful or easier in tight spots.
Another benefit is that you can actually still get a 191cm Sender Free 110 as it’s still made this year!
Mounting up my 191 Sender 110’s tomorrow now that we have ample snow. Leaning towards -2-cm for my 25.5 BSL with P18’s. Any new thoughts or inputs from those who have had some more time on them?

In constant pursuit of the perfect slarve...
-2 sounds like a good idea, especially if you did not care for BO118s at rec.
I have found the Blister review to be pretty good at describing the 184, so their take on the longer ski is probably a good starting point as well.
