I knew it was in the air, its here

A dream that left my body in a familiar state of readiness when I woke up with that strange sensation in my bones this morning. Something must be done, but what? Quick breakfast, coffee, down to the office. When I hit the tunes, I instictively went for AC/DC, Back in Black, reason unknown. The tunes fired up and I started my daily routine with my body still in a state of uneasyness.

Then there it was, the dream rushing back into my cerebral cortex, flushing out the dust, FIRE, the image of smashing through powder,FIRE, another of faceshots, FIRE, bumps, groomers, backcountry. I turned up the tunes loud soaked in some of the great dreams from last night, then I realize: DAMN IT ALL TO HELL I AM READY SKI, ITS FUCKING SEPTEMBER.

Usually ski movies and cold weather bring this on, but it has only been to the 40's around here and i haven't seen a single movie yet. I am now in stage 2 with only one more stage to hurdle when I will be a full blown addict. The Spatulas are now out of the closet awaiting their next marching order to the deepness.

I wish there was deepness to rush to, but for now the anxiety will build the suspense for later this season.

I hear ya. I'm working as fast as I can to get everything in order so I'll have enough time to ski a ton this season. These cold mornings in the 40s definitely wake up some sort of memory inside. Much like the Pavlovian response of a dog to the dinner bell, I'm starting to drool.

Yeah....,obviously I'm getting all wound up as well.Too many months of rehab,& not enough skiing last year! I've already watched a bunch of Gaffney films, but they only help for the short term as they address the symptoms & do nothing to address the cause!
    Calmer than you dude
