DPS Wailer F99 as a daily driver for Crystal MTN WA

DPS Wailer F99 as a daily driver for Crystal MTN WA?
I bought a used pair last Fall. i haven't remounted them to fit my boots. They seem soft, maybe too soft for Crystal and the melt-freeze base we have this year. They are 184s. i Also have 180 Blizzard Rustler 10 which are a soft snow based ski. Will there be too much overlap with the Rustler 10s?

Lots of overlap with your Rustlers, but I have a small pitch for the WF99, it is more of a 5 point ski and rides more playfully and perhaps forgivingly.

I tour a bit on an older hybrid 99@192cm. Compared to many other skis, I genuinely prefer these over most everything else I ride. On days my friends are out on their 106 whatevers (and me too sometimes) I am just wishing I had rode these. Mine are beat with at least 70 days on them since I received them second hand and as of this week, have been relegated to my rock touring set up for the next couple years.

What I think you will like about them at Crystal is their ability to adhere to the moguls and their dampness, which will definitely compliment the Rustler's gravity on corduroy and ice. If you are there skiing leftovers the day after everyone skied up the south bowl. These will be more useful than the Rustlers.

That said, I am not sure how much space you have for your quiver. I have over a dozen skis in mine and some do not get play every season. I also happily drag 2 pairs to the mountain for myself.

How are the Wailers in Dust on Crust conditions? are they Damp enough to not make that an unpleasant experience.
I think the 184 size might be too soft for me a 180lbs.

Other people may differ, but I found that extremely short running length to kind of suck in anything I couldn’t push around at least a little bit.
