Someone move that swamp to the Bronx so the ship could sink faster.
Every team looks so good against the Yanks I don't even know what to think anymore!

I sure hope Boone and Cashman get fired and rehired by division rivals soon though.

That’s a cool photo, but if I had to guess that water is no more than 2-3 inches deep at most.

Yeah. The field still looks good so it can’t be that deep or it would be running into the bowl

The Yanks need to sign Soriano to get a little more pop in the lineup.

Wander Franco has been placed on administrative leave. Wonder if he'll ever play another game...

    Guardos take game 1 Woodsy!

And somehow find their offense despite all the rookie callups after the loss of Josh Naylor, Bell and Rosario.

23k on hand for a Tuesday night game after school is in session looked good on TV too.

Syndergaard has to feel good about that outing too. The man sounds so broken when he speaks but so passionate about how much he loves the game and wants to get back to his old self.

And also, damnit if Tito didn't make me think about life as a Guards fan without him at the helm today:

Come on Terry, one more year. Youngest team in MLB, get all these stud starters back and healthy, Josey, Naylor, Jimenez, let Antonetti go out and spend that new minority owner cash... go all in on one more year. Come on.

9 straight Ls for the Bummers - first time in 41 years. You guys are going to get elimination day early this year.

    It'll get better, I promise.

Just enjoy Aaron F'ing Boone as much as you can while you still have him.

Saw the ChiSox cleared house today; not that it will fix anything in that rotten organization.

I like Boone as a person, he just costs the team 5-10 wins a year. another manager would also make stupid decisions but hopefully less. The real problem is Crashman, it makes no sense to allow the guy that traded for Josh Donaldson at age 38, Montas with a bum shoulder, boot boy Bader (for a legit 2) etc to do the rebuild. This guy thinks it’s still the steroid days where every hitter is going to be productive till they’re 450 years old and it’s not the case. Plus whatever nonsense they’re doing on the farm makes zero sense.

This is the outsider view of the Yankees organization, except everyone has to be clean shaven and bald and pasty as shit white if you're not Latino.

I like Boone from my college days when all 3 of the Boone clan could be seen for a $6 top 6 ticket at Riverfront Stadium and several $5 beers instead of going to class.

Mariners have now won eight in a row and they're 33-13 since July 1st. Wow. Didn't see that coming. They seemed like they had no spark at all early in the season. Now they're one game up on the Jays for the wild card.

Well I’m feeling a little better. 9-1 and 3 HR for Judge. I know the Nats suck and all but it still makes me happy for one night.

    1. Morton was rock solid tonight and Ozuna continues to RAKE!

    2. Otahani was pulled for "arm fatigue" hopefully not serious.

My son, fresh off his first practice in Fall Ball said exactly that quote when he hopped in the car tonight and asked “how the Guardos doing Dad?”

My smile grew 3 sizes today.

This was my first thought. My second thought is baseball fans are going to be robbed of seeing a once in a generation talent do incredible things. Sucks.
