    FS New 14" iBook G4, 1.42ghz, Superdrive

Literally never opened, got it from Fedex today. Decided to go with a desktop instead. It's the latest updated version, just happened about a month ago. Read the ad for more info. $50 discount, but plus shipping for a maggot. I can throw in some good software too.

    Here.

Bump. That link doesn't work anymore, I keep relisting it to keep on the top of CL. But this is what it says:

This iBook has NEVER been opened. The seal is still on the box. I am getting rid of it simply to get a desktop computer. The iBooks just got updated about a month ago, so this is a great deal and a computer that won't be obsolete anytime soon. From the iBooks that were selling in stores a couple months ago, this new one has double the RAM built-in (512mb with an open slot to accomodate up to an addition 1 GB), a 1.42 ghz G4 processor as oppossed to a 1.33, the new two finger scrolling function on the trackpad. SMS Sudden Motion Sensor to protect the harddrive if you drop your computer, and built-in bluetooth technology.

Also standard on this machine is Apple OS X Tiger (10.4), iLife '05 (iTunes, Garageband 2.0, iDVD, iMovie HD, iPhoto), Airport Extreme built-in (to recieve any wireless signal), Appleworks word processor/pagemaker, and a DVD burning Superdrive. The lessor machine this one updated sold for $1500 a month ago. I'm selling this for $1200 which is cheaper than you'll find it anywhere in PDX. It comes with the standard one year warrenty, which you can choose to extend with Apple's protection plan, for a full three years of coverage.

Price is firm. $1200. Cash only, please. No shipping.

    Apple iBook 14-inch:

    1.42GHz PowerPC G4
    512K L2 cache @1.42GHz
    512MB memory (DDR333 SDRAM)
    14.1-inch TFT Display
    1024x768 resolution
    ATI Mobility Radeon 9550
    32MB DDR video memory
    60GB Ultra ATA hard drive
    SuperDrive (DVD±RW/CD-RW)
    Built-in AirPort Extreme
    Built-in Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
    Scrolling Trackpad
    Sudden Motion Sensor

    Bump, muthafuckas!

$1100, you pay shipping and send me a money order (me no likes paypal fees). In case you didn't know that's $200 off retail and no tax. I'm throwing in an extra 512mb stick o' ram too.

I'm sure there's plenty o' folks on here who can vouch for my cred, if that's an issue.

Well, I can't order the computer I really want until I can unload this one. And it's not much use to me sitting in the box being all brand new and stuff. If you thought you could drag together the money in the next few weeks I could wait, or you could pay now with paypal (+ the paypal fee) with your CC. Let me know.

Tiger and iLife'05 of course. I could work in, unofficially, MS Office, Roxio Popcorn (for 'backing up' the DVD movies you own ), Pages, Keynote, Toast, and probably some other stuff.
