I was going to say rest easy Chardo then thought better of it. Rock on Chardo!

Well said EWG, may we all never fold another towel.

Boy, I’ll say. To a full life, lived well. Ride on Chardo.

You should publish that in the local papers.

Old people buy papers. And read obits. I’m sure many of his old pals would enjoy your writing.

I’ll pour one out for uncle.

And happily send $37 to publish that in print.

    RIP to a legend.
^^this.........and a longer version biography would be a hell of a read. RIP.....and vibes man.

    Yes. Finish the obituary
And publish it. Even people that didn’t know your uncle will read it and smile. Life well lived. Thanks uncle. You rocked.

EWG, I don't know if you've seen this one but it's an obit that went viral, which probably would have amused its subject and which made him much more widely known than he was in life, and he was pretty widely known in life, like your uncle. I encourage you to put what you have together and put it out there.

Sorry for your loss. Have a couple friends that had similar experiences ending up in the chair and made the very best of it. Very special people indeed. Sounds like your uncle lived life to the absolute fullest; that takes guts.

Awesome tribute to a life lived on the edge, lived fully.

Here’s to charging hard on big water, steep drops and leaving the towel folding for another time, another place.
