Add me to the list as well, I'll either be day tripping or preferably pitching in on available condo space as things come together.

Thank you for the offer. The difference in price is hefty but less then I expected. I don't want to risk screwing up any plans you already have if my flight is delayed etc. I probably will keep my plan of flying right into bc. Thank you again and looking forward to meet you guys when I get out there.

    GRrrr....school

    I hate school.

    My Midterms are March 6-10th.

I have no class on the 8th, though, so If school isn't nuts I could make Xtal that day for sure.

Will either be skiing Xtal, Alpy, and hopefully a few days at WB from 3/10 (get off at 9AM ) to 3/19.

I'm located in Tacompton. I can give rides to Xtal from the south sound if anyone needs them or possibly give some people a place to stay if they want to sleep in a dirty, loud college house.

JetBlue has $99 each way from JFK to Seattle. Did you get something very close direct to Vancouver?

I found $295. Not as cheap no, but this way my plans aren't dependent on someone else and noone else's plans are depedent on me. Like I said I would hate to have my plane delayed and someone stuck at the airport waiting for me for me for a few hours. Flight times are a little better for me as well.

I'll be plugging for the second weekend -- flying out of DC on Friday. Looking forward to it. We need some roadtrippers from CO, UT, CA... But it's early. More people go late than commit early. It's the way it's always been.

a close family friend of my wife is a well accomplished/recognized ski mountaineer. I thought about of contacting him to see if he would be willing to guide some maggots on a Spearhead Traverse tour. It would require some $ to cover his travel expenses and guiding services. How many of you would consider a guided 2 day tour while at W/B? this would be an incredible opportunity to ski some hidden backcountry gems from a local legend.

Hmm. Super, super tempting. How much $ do you think we'd be looking at?

not sure on the $, Id have to see if theres enough interest 1st. I think the hard part is having enough people, but not so many that its a gongshow. lets see a show of hands.

although I'm only able to partake in the weekend, wanted to let anyone know that if they need a ride from Seattle to Whistler on Friday night- I can give you a ride. Likewise for anyone returning on either Sunday.

heh...I haven't really given a second thought to the Summit due to *other* things, but now those *other* things are out of the way....I may have to take you up on this offer.

BTW -- check your PM & email about those *other* things

me thinks Arty & Shoe should fly up Friday afternoon- we'll then teleport via the squirrel wagon for Sat/Sun @ Whistler - then back Sunday night and you can take the 6am flight back Monday morning

wish I could take the Fri or Mon off - but seems unlikely at this point. still might be some hope for monday though I won't know until much closer to march.

oh, and did I mention it's supposed to dump all this week?

Post BC and Washington maggots with an Edge card

W/B has a special deal going on right now where you can load days onto your Edge card for a reduced rate. You can get three days for $159 or five for $249 (Canadian). This deal ends on January 24th.

I will be wherever I end up after realizing the night before that it is the Summit.
But everyone together at one time in one place is always nice.

Things have a way of working out.......

Looks like we're showing up late on 3/4 and staying in the Upper Village/Valhalla. Staying with a group from Kzone until 3/12, can't wait!

Any BC plans yet? Got the gear and coming fresh out of avi class at Tucks in Feb.
