    First time @ Hartman Rocks

Me and my numb balls will be passing thru gunni Thursday afternoon-friday morning.

I don’t really have the time to go up to CB and I’ve heard good things about Hartman.

Prob looking for a 2-4 hr ride and would love to camp (van) at/near the TH.

    Beta please.

I don’t have a recommended route… but I think Hartman is pretty darn fun.

Last time I was there (2021) there was a lot of camping right around the trails. I don’t think you’ll have an issue on Thursday.

Go. I usually get baked and ride around some stuff is fun sone is ok. But it's a great place unless the wind is blowing then it sucks lots and lots of trails

Drive to the top of the hill you have to camp in designated areas the hill is sketchy looking but short there is maps and shit I usually camp to the right someday I'll camp to the left then there is shit way up on the ridge cell phone coverage is ok as long as your not behind a rock no water a couple shitters here and there

Sorry about your dick hope you can enjoy

As FF said, head up the road from the base area (kill hill) and there are designated sites scattered throughout. My favorite sites are over by behind the rocks trail if you have a rig with some clearance.

There is a bunch of riding, but my favorite circuit is base area->up jacks->road->rocky ridge->luge->alonzos->behind the rocks->rocky ridge->sea of sage->rattlesnake->road->becks->collarbone

That's probably not quite as long as you are looking for, but easy to add more trails on and ride stuff from wherever you camp.

I like the camping and riding better off of County Road 32, lots of great riding back there. I wont be home in Gunnison until Saturday or I would join you. Have fun it’s a pretty cool area.

I did this loop, don't recall much about the trails, so probably was just ok:
