Sad news. This is dangerous sport no doubt. Is it something the group thinks should be a sanctioned event (Olympics) or just a pure pursuit? What are your thoughts?

Should skimo or mountaineering be a sanctioned event for competition (olympic style) or just left as a pursuit?
