Halfway through tour divide. Got Covid bad. Been in Saratoga WY for 5 days after being picked up near Aspen Grove due to serious breathing problems due to Covid infection believed to be picked up in Atlantic City WY. Trying to get to an airport to fly back to Canada (Fernie, BC). Issuing a plea for assistance for a ride to an airport or the border. Will pay cash.

I'm about 7 hrs. away so that doesn't help.

Here are some thoughts on a plan.

Laramie is the next big town, U. of WYo is there. Getting a ride there will be easier than out of Saratoga. Try and get a ride over to Laramie or better yet to Cheyenne, state capital.

Try and catch a flight to Denver or even a ride. Fly home from there.

I realize that the 'getting a lift' is the hard part. Rural Wyomingites can be helpful if they like you or if you are in trouble. Contrarily, most will be covid wary, you may have to ride in the back with the sheep or hay.

Complete longshot but the Condict family of Grandslam Outfitters in Saratoga are some grade A salt of the earth people. I don't really know them but spent a week with them hunting in 2018. Maybe give them a call?

Sorted. Thanks to a BCAA card I’ve got due to driving shit boxes. Looks like a tow truck will transport me to Laramie tomorrow where I can catch the first of a few flights to make it back home. Many thanks to all who offered assistance and advice.

And just to let everyone know. I’ve been isolating in a hotel for the last 6 days and tested negative today. Still quite sick though. Covid is no joke.
