-Include your TGR handle in the notes
-Cutoff is noon Pacific on Monday March 25
-if we win under $100, I'll consider it a tip
    -if we win $100 - $1000, I'll donate it to https://highfivesfoundation.org/
-Amounts over $1k will be paid out by Venmo. I mean, unless we win the jackpot, that will have to be cashier's checks or something, IDK, never tried to send someone a few million dollars before
It wants me to put in the last 4 digits of your phone number in order to venmo.

Heh, you beat me to it. So now I can just take credit for (saying I was) thinking of the idea without spending any extra money. [emoji6]

    Right? What a good guy.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

With one huge caveat: you need a textable phone number that Venmo recognizes as an actual cell phone, not a VoIP number. For years, that kept me out because I use a Google Voice number and was using a data-only plan for connectivity. Works great now that I've got a work phone number associated with a Verizon account, except that I never actually use my number so I need to look it up anytime someone gets asked for the last for digits.

And back to our regularly scheduled finger crossing.

For the record, PayPal and Venmo both suck. And yes, I know they are both the same company. I use PayPal because I already have it from back when I used to buy the occasional item from eBay. The only reason I still use it is for megjillions. I never hooked it up to my bank account, only my CC. I heard too many horror stories about eBay and PayPal to ever want to link it to the place where my paycheck goes. I don't have multiple bank accounts. And constantly moving money around seems like a pain. I also don't do any banking from my phone. Therefore something like Venmo which is linked to a bank account and designed for mobile use is the opposite of what I think is safe. A [mobile] phone number should never be part of any portion of a financial transaction. It wasn't designed to be secure. I already have to keep my credit rating stuff frozen because of some ID theft nibbles. So I'm on edge as it is
