You're right! And thanks! The contrast between the two organizations is pretty stark. Whereas the former makes it clear you're their bitch (even though you're an IC), the latter has a company culture that's all about elevating each other. My PM even told me how good this project would be for boosting my career to where I was trying to go. As professionals, THAT'S how we should be with each other. The industry's riddled with ladder pullers, but ESPECIALLY on the green side, so it's a breath of fresh air.
