You have the right to disagree, but don't act like this is some brand new absurdist take on things. it’s the traditional one.
Do you think that things may have changed in the US since the Bill of Rights was penned? If you’re hung up on the language revisit the part of the second amendment that talks about a well regulated militia. You can’t have it both ways you disingenuous pig fucker

Unlike every one of your arguments? You choose irrational fear of an imagined Boogeyman scenario instead of what's killing people in the here and now.

    Exactly.

Sure there may be 10’s of thousands of preventable deaths happening each year, right here, right now.

But whatabout my hypothetical genocide of the future?! What about my hypothetical descent into fascism?!

    Fuck off.

    Fear.

It all boils down to being scared. The pro-gun people are the most fearful and scared bunch of dimwits this side of the nuthouse.

Is there one argument in today’s world that doesn’t boil down to “I’m scared of xxxxx and want to be able to protect myself”? Except for hunters and sports shooting.

I admit when I got my AK47 16 years ago I just loved blasting pumpkins and dead logs with it. Then, 14 years ago I bought a Glock because mass public shootings were becoming more frequent and the media was hyper focused on creating fear for ratings and it worked on me. I got a carry permit, packed a Glock around for like a month and realized I was a goddam pussy for doing it. Guns have been in a safe since except for target practice and cleaning.

    Never ends. Such bullshit.

    Re: Firearm Suicides

The percentage of people who survive a suicide attempt and then retry successfully is super low. There was a study done after they installed the nets under the Golden Gate Bridge, essentially every jumper caught by the net has not re-attempted suicide.

The reason fewer women commit suicide than men is because women more commonly take pills (they don’t want to leave their family a mess) and men shoot themselves. Shooting yourself has a better chance of working…

Restricting firearm availability would certainly reduce suicides.

Just in the last page or two someone is scared of being ethnically cleansed and also has a fear of being a victim of genocide.

It’s unreal how scared and fragile these people are, it’s almost like they’ve already determined they are victims to these hypothetical scenarios, therefore their actions are justified.

Inalienable is the word used. Meaning you can infringe on them but you can't take the right away. Same thing, without the religious connotation. Yawn.

Out of curiosity how do know if these shooters are all liberal?

    Is there a list?

    Many are just kids.

Serious question for you, can you link to the data?

Sure you can. Theyre amendments. Just like the 18th and 21st. Get enough votes and it’s bye, bye, bye black toys. So no, it’s not the same. Even though you claimed they were god given
