Round here we judge the sinner, not the sin. And the sin is less serious than bagging it and leaving it.

Trouble is ..... I bag and tie my garbage, garbageman reaches in and pulls large bag out. Anything else gets left behind. Some people do not even tie their doggie bags. Now I have to deal with THEIR (literal) shit.

F*ck ! This is just a few blocks from my house.
Now I have to worry about getting mauled by a garbage feeding bear while taking the trash out late at night ?
    Dog poop pales in comparison.

I don't mind that, nor would I probably even notice it since I've already put out the bin. Unfortunately the ONLY time they do it to mine is after the bin's been emptied and I don't bring it in from the curb fast enough. It is indeed a dickhead move.

I keep thinking I should put a laminated sign on the bin saying something like, "please don't leave your shit with me. I have enough of my own to deal with". Probably wouldn't work.

Your garbage collection is the guy reaching in and grabbing a bag? Holy shit, I haven't seen that type of collection in decades. It's been automated "grab the entire can and dump it into the truck" for as long as I can remember.

We don't all live in paradise like you do, brah. Around here they wheel it over and put it on the thing in back and pull the lever. The auto grabbers weren't working on the trucks my company uses.

that's just an alternative of the same thing, and exactly what I am talking about from my paradise, brah. Whether the truck has an autograbber or the guy has to wheel the cart to the truck, it's all mostly the same, and FAR FAR different than the guy reaching into the can and pulling out the bagged trash.

Our garbage goes into 30 gal cans in the bear box. We have 90 gal can lifters for recycle and yard waste but not the stuff that attracts bears etc. I don't think anyone has figured out a bear proof machine lifted can.
