    Epoxies and Fischer Carbon cores

Can you use any epoxy with a Fischer carbon air core?

    I have a similar problem

I have a pair of scarch BC's with a "hybrid" core (foam and some other shit). They have been drilled 3X and had a bit of a delam under the heel from a bad mount job.

Anyway I fixed the delam with some plastic weld epoxy by drilling some tiny holes in the top skin and injecting epoxy directly into the core, flexed the skis a bunch and then clamped until cured. All mount holes were also injected with epoxy.

My question now is do I mount what ever binders (planning on freerides) directly to the ski or do I mount a plate over the old holes and then mount the binders to the plate? I wouldn't mind any extra weight or stiffness added by mounting the plate. just not sure about mounting screws into epoxy, especially if it is close to old mount holes.
