Does anyone know if the strive uses the same mounting pattern as the shift?

Thanks, I couldn’t remember if the shift heels matched the warden mount or not.Originally Posted by PNWcement;[emoji[emoji6[emoji640

Bummer. I’ve got a few sets of thirteens and sixteens set aside and a whole bunch of different brakes widths. Guess I’ll be holding on to those.Originally Posted by gregL;[emoji[emoji6[emoji640
Sucks that the Strive has so many different variants and no consistent brakes across all models. At least the sixteens share the STH[emoji638] brakes and heel.

In constant pursuit of the perfect slarve...
Yeah, I don’t mind the strive but as someone who doesn’t use a din above 13, it is annoying that the nicer heel mechanics moved up to 16.
Was nicer when you didn’t get a heel design downgrade until the 11 din range. I’m sure the heel is fully tested, conforms to specs, etc., but it just feels wimpy.
I've been using the Strive 16 on multiple pair of skis without issue. The heel locks nicely, my skiing feels the same and have yet to pre-release with DIN around 13-14.
Anyone have an AFD get stuck out?
I have a pair of Strive 14 GW that I’m using with GW boots. A couple times now I’ve noticed that the AFD of one binding works it way to the right (right ski if it matters) while skiing. When I remove my boot it stays to the right, more or less fully extended. It easily slides back to center and afterwards will recenter itself. If these were old style bindings I’d adjust the toe height. Any thoughts?
Has anyone had this problem before? One or two hard turns and this dumb afd pops out. It stays out there and my edge grip goes to shit as the inside edge of the boot is just floating.

^^ check forward pressure.
Had this happen on some old Z twelves when then heel plate was cracked and fwd pressure was too light.
No idea if thats your issue with strive but easy to check. …..

Yeah I have the same problem with strive 14 gw. Stepping out of the binding and cleaning the afd around from ice/snow/slush usually helps. Really annoying.
Happens on mine from time to time but otherwise I've yet to pre-release in two seasons. Totally stoked on the ski performance.
666, are skiing the 14 or 16?
16..apparently it has a beefier heel than the 14 or lower.
