Made some big changes on my approach and pulled Benoit off the team.... and he promptly qualifies first. Not that he hadn't been performing.

Judging by the number of fast guys way down the rankings, I think qualies were a bit of a shit show. Hopefully everyone came out uninjured, and hopefully there's better weather for tomorrow.

Is it 50 guys plus protected that get to run, or if you finish 50th in quali you get bumped out if there are protected riders below you?

I also made the 50 number up but that sounds about right?

I believe it's top 60 qualifiers + any protected riders outside of the top 60.


Same for women, except I think it's just the top 15 qualifiers + protected.

An entertaining race as always. The woods looked gnarly, but not as bad as in years past. Cool to see some variety in the top 10, and not just a bunch of Frenchies (even though my team was mostly Frenchies).

Finn seems like he's getting close. Seems like he's finally found a sustainable speed that doesn't result in him crashing all the time.

Finn has to be one of the fastest folks to not win a world cup.

I am glad he is finally crossing the finishing line and not just killing it in qualifying, but I just really, really want to see him on top of the podium soon.
