Maga is for pussies. Crying about ww3. Grow some balls. You start by getting Trump's out yo mouth and back in his diaper.
This won’t be like Trump’s North Korea deal or his new Iran Deal or Infrastructure Week or his health care plan will it?
Any different than HDS (Harris) or BDS or HRCDS )Hillary) or ODS or BDS (GW Bush)? Maybe the entire country is sort of deranged and has lost the will or ability to compromise or see both sides of an argument or the arguments are so bitter that it is no longer possible. 9/11 and Covid were suppose to unite us and in fact did the opposite. We are so very fucked.Trump derangement syndrome is an affliction of the MAGAtards
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.
"Happiest years of my life were earning < $8.00 and hour, collecting unemployment every spring and fall, no car, no debt and no responsibilities. 1984-1990 Park City UT"
Well it was nearly twenty five years ago
Bunion,
Not to single you out for any reason, but these forums are a perfect example of people being ridiculed immediately for trying to find a compromise or a middle ground on anything. Rational respectful conversation is utterly impossible. If we, as Americans, are all responsible for our current government despite who we voted for, we are also all responsible for how we interact with each other. Our society is a political embarrassment of childlike behaviors and worse. How we treat each other is reflected in our politics/politicians.
Are you equating most of the posters here, going back to the beginning of this thread, with posters like Cono, xyz and rod? They aren’t trying to find a mid ground, they’re living in a world colored by lies and propaganda. There is a segment of the left that is this way too. I think most of the people posting in this thread are in the middle when it comes to this particular issue, forming opinions based on facts, history and the idea that the US was once considered the good guy for the most part. Being Purim’s stooge and flip flopping on every decision based on how people react isn’t who we used to be. History is doomed to repeat itself it seems.
No, the Democrats have continuously showed they do the proper thing. If they f up, they step down or resign because the party has some integrity. The Republicans f up and dig their heels in deeper and party lemmings follow along. They should be hung for their voter suppression tactics.
It's time to act like them and fight back against the fascist bastards. The reasonable debating period is currently off the table. I am hopeful it will return in the future if and when this magatard movement is over.
What is the compromise on a nazi salute?
I’m not being specific or pointing anyone or any ideological viewpoint out. Just that our American society as a whole is very spiteful, intolerant, and bitter. We see that in TGR, social media, and in our elected officials. It’s plain as day.
We demand, expect, and see better behavior in school children.
The people being ridiculed are the village idiots. Binary thinkers and incapable of seeing the world in a pragmatic (reality) way. It's tiring wading through all the lies and misinterpretations they have been fed and regurgitate. I've run into a very few "Thinking Conservatives" IRL. Only one, actually. 10 years ago before DJT
Seeker of Truth. Dispenser of Wisdom. Protector of the Weak. Avenger of Evil.
Nobody is going to disagree with you but it clearly been driven by one side here and that side is winning and driving their fascist ways down our throats with zero compromise. And it's over. The gloves need to come off. They don't understand the word diplomacy.
My memory is poor, but I think I remember Obama largely running on a positive message, imagine if he was allowed to run again.
Imagine a country where people didn’t run to Twitter for every thought that crossed their mind. Imagine if bit by bit people were a little nicer on the internet and in person. Maybe it would lead to a less polarizing vitriolic political system that served the average person instead of the extremes.
Yeah, I know it’s a fairy tale. But our society and politics I find very fatiguing.
One side sees the biggest threat to the country as being our own people. They shoot up pizza shops, assualt the capitol and like torch marches. They see this as masculine and despise anything else. Then act like pansies about Putin. Wtf is there to talk about?
They want battered spouse syndrome. I'm supposed to be nice to these goons? Never gonna happen.
Jackstraw I agree with you but what does that mean in a practical sense? What can we do? Im not just hand-wringing, I want marching orders. Ive been thinking about this a lot and Im clearly not smart enough to figure this out myself because I have no clue what to do beyond going to demonstrations.
Musk: Iliterally challenged Putin to one on one physical combat over Ukraine and my Starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army. Their entire front line would collapse if turned it off.
Foreign Affairs Minister of Poland: Starlinks for Ukraine are paid for by the Polish Digitization Ministry at the cost of about $50 million per year.
The ethics of threatening the victim of aggression apart, if Space proves to be an unreliable provider we will be forced to look for other suppliers.
Musk: Be quiet, small man.

You're smarter than me, I'm just an Irish hotheaded idiot! [emoji16]
I guess what I'm saying is we need our elected leaders to fight like hell and stop being so diplomatic with these assholes who are not. Jasmine Crocket and AOC stand out amongst others. Time to stop being so nice. Granted they're in the minority, but they need to be real and speak matter-of-factly, less diplomatic (maybe?) so everyone hears them. I swear people like Trump because of the way he speaks to people in a...I don't know the term...but just like an idiot way without "big" words. An intellect like Obama, although won twice, did not capture these people because he spoke above their heads and they were lost two sentences in.
Idk. I'm just an idiot, but I'm not a Putin loving dictator Nazi and the bottom line is we need to wait two yrs and let the current politicians do what they can in the meantime and let trump destroy some of his base with what he's doing to entire country. We're already starting to see it with these knuckleheads that regret voting for him.
Liberal friends
Ukraine is never getting crimea back. Get that out of your heads or go join Hamas, you might fit in.
So, depending how you look at the Donbas, the lines are the same, and Putin blew 700k, or whatever, thousand men for nothing. Again, the lines are the same, pre 2022. Ukraine does not lose face.
I think the mission creep, to go back to,2014, warrants its own decision. Obviously a bigger task for everyone. But nooo, that cute, cuddly man sold everyone on going all the way, or no way. He is fucking nuts to not pause, and celebrate.
I call that some very bad risk management.
And this Russian agent shit, man what is the weed like where you’re at? 50% thc?
Ive been there, nothing to apologize for.
Whether Trump is an actual Russian asset or he’s just an unwitting fool that behaves like one doesn’t really matter does it?
Stop with your hyperbole and converse like an adult. English is our official language now.
JS I'm an Irish hothead too, I guess that's a big part of why I'm so frustrated with this shit. No damn action. Where the fuck are the ex-presidents btw? Not a fuckin peep as far s I can tell.
Bernie had 9000 people at his event in Warren MI yesterday, at least he's doing something. He starts at ~21:00. He's a little short on action items beside stick together and fight, but that's something at least.
Try reaching the 3.5% threshold for change
https://www.bbc.com/future/article/2...ange-the-world
“Nonviolent protests are twice as likely to succeed as armed conflicts – and those engaging a threshold of 3.5% of the population have never failed to bring about change.”
“they had collected data from 323 violent and nonviolent campaigns. And their results – which were published in their book Why Civil Resistance Works: The Strategic Logic of Nonviolent Conflict – were striking.
Strength in numbers
Overall, nonviolent campaigns were twice as likely to succeed as violent campaigns: they led to political change 53% of the time compared to 26% for the violent protests.
This was partly the result of strength in numbers. Chenoweth argues that nonviolent campaigns are more likely to succeed because they can recruit many more participants from a much broader demographic, which can cause severe disruption that paralyses normal urban life and the functioning of society.
In fact, of the 25 largest campaigns that they studied, 20 were nonviolent, and 14 of these were outright successes. Overall, the nonviolent campaigns attracted around four times as many participants (200,000) as the average violent campaign (50,000).”
I guess Chile’s “social explosion” of 2019/20 was like a stage version of Ukraines Maidan protests, where the protesters were the violent ones provoking the security forces, for vague reasons, egged on by the communists and anarchists. BUT one day there was a peaceful march of over a million, or 6%, and Chile got a shot at a new constitution. Not that anything really changed ‘cause the left and right both blew it with their rad versiones.
