    Seems Vlad agreed....
President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia says the United States now faces in Iraq the possibility of a prolonged, violent and ultimately futile war like the one that mired the Soviet Union in Afghanistan.

In an expansive interview on Saturday evening, Mr. Putin warned that Iraq could ''become a new center, a new magnet for all destructive elements.'' He added, without naming them, that ''a great number of members of different terrorist organizations'' have been drawn into the country since the fall of Saddam Hussein. [Excerpts, Page A8.]

To respond to this emerging threat, he said, the Bush administration must move quickly to restore sovereignty to Iraqis and to secure a new United Nations resolution that would clearly define how long international forces remain there.

''How would the local population treat forces whose official name is the occupying forces?'' he asked, suggesting that further hostility to the United States was inevitable unless its occupation received the international legitimacy it now lacks.

Mr. Putin said for the first time that Russia was prepared to offer partial relief on the $8 billion it is owed by Iraq, but only in coordination with other major creditor nations in the Paris Club. The United States has been struggling to persuade its European allies to make significant contributions to the multibillion-dollar rebuilding of Iraq.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Social Chess seems to have lost a lot of its Russian players.

I wonder if it too has been censored because of its chat feature?

    - Russia has made “no appreciable forward movement” toward Kyiv

    - Russia has had more military success in southern Ukraine due in part to shorter supply lines from Crimea

    - Ukraine still has a "significant majority" of aircraft available against Russia, including fixed-wing, drones, and helicopters. Ukraine still maintains overall air superiority after nine days of war with Russia

    - Estimates Russia has sent more than 92% of pre-staged combat troops into Ukraine
I wonder about that last point. 92% of staged forces.

Not hard for Russia to just add more forces to the stage.

How much of the entire Russian military is in Ukraine or staged ?

Guess I could do some math on total numbers minus staged numbers but…

I think Russia had put roughly 2/3 of their army on the border. So 160ish in Ukraine right now.

They are bringing men & material by train from the Far East. Not hard, but not quick.

Ruh roh.... Trump has turned on Vlad....... he better watch out, Vlad's got the pee-pee tape and isn't afraid to use it.

Russia has gotten in deeper than they ever thought possible […] to a certain extent because of the weapons that I gave, and that the Ukrainians used so well, I mean they used so well, amazing. […] So I think Russia is, something could be done with them right now, because they’re not looking so good […]

They have to stop killing these people, they’re killing all these people and they have to stop it. And they have to stop it now. But they don’t respect the United States … this is a holocaust, this is a horrible thing that is happening, you’re witnessing and you’re seeing it on television every night. Who can believe that this, they’re taking army tanks and they’re taking missiles and shooting them into buildings…

Fighting the good fight within Pravda: https://www.theguardian.com/media/20...ecking-ukraine

Macgregor claimed that Russians and Ukrainians were “indistinguishable” from one another, and when asked whether Russia should be allowed to take as much of Ukraine as he likes, Macgregor said: “Yes, absolutely.”

Griffin came on air and swiftly accused Macgregor of sounding like a Putin “apologist”: because “there were so many distortions in what he just said”.

I’m basing it of working directly with some of these guys in Iraq and Kuwait. Also serving with them stateside. What’s your experience in this regard?

"All of this means life is shaping up to be lonely for Mr. Putin. He’s reportedly been in self-isolation since the pandemic began, and we’ve seen numerous photos of him sitting far away from other humans, appearing alone and disturbed. He can silo himself personally, but neither his wealth, his yacht, nor his nation will survive in isolation. Money is an addictive substance. The U.S. and Europe are the biggest dealers, and Russia has been using for several decades now."

^ There's compelling evidence Russians inside the Kremlin are covertly working to undermine Putin.

Great. Everyone can be a mythic undead animal and "we" have to be undead nazi Zombies. Don't get me wrong...undead nazi Zombies are certainly the best and will conquer the undead reich, but still.

I mean we have mythical beasts too! We could be undead nazi werewolves and Siegfried bathed in Dragon blood! Imagine a dragon with swasrika tattoos.... Endless possiblities.

This whole nazi thing is so done. I mean I get it. We're supporting the nazi jews in Ukraine, so We're nazis by assosication AND history.

I mean shit, the uk gets the exploited skull as an imperialist Mascot and we get boring helmet Zombies?
Edit: zooming in...it's a lion. A freudian misinterpretation. Of course Putin and his minion are no exploited Fans.
It's a war of the mind and we're armed to the teeth.
