For all the talk of the Vance / Trump / Zelensky dust up at the White House, it's important to point out that a week ago the Trump administration voted with North Korea, Russia and Belarus against a UN resolution condemning Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Today, the Trump administration announced it is suspending all U.S. military aid to Ukraine. But the number of equipment deliveries had already slowed to a trickle over the past month.

The Trump admin is also seeking sanctions relief for Russia. Tariffs on allies up; sanctions on Russia down. With the benefit of hindsight this all looks like a fait accompli since Trump won the election back in November. Everything in between was merely theater. Now we know. The American government is on Russia's side.

You’d think this would be enough for some Rs, but yet again there seems to be no limit to their cowardice

We already knew that Trump wants to emulate Putin as much as possible. This is just confirmation of his desire to make the USA into a dictatorship, end free elections, censor free speech, and throw opponents in jail.

Not too sure who listens to the Ukraine, the latest podcast from the UK? Either obviously was a serious tone today from the disgusting display by JD and the orange fascist on Friday. They then went on to report about the protest in Vermont. Killed myself laughing when the main podcast host stopped and asked the listeners to please explain one of the protest signs. Sure enough it was the one... ”JD skis in jeans!” Ha. They went onto theorize what that sign could have meant. Well done, whoever made up that sign.

And XYZ, you are an absolute embarrassment to Canadians.

Why? Because I want the slaughtering of Ukrainians to stop? They can’t win this war without western troops on the ground. If that’s what you want, put your keyboard down and head off to the frontlines. It’s only fair. Otherwise STFU.

Ukraine lost the war. It needs to end. Concessions have or be made.

Ukraine won the war on Day 3, General.
The sooner Trump is dead, the better for Russia. They can withdraw sooner and won't have to sacrifice a million more men on Putin's vanity, then withdraw later in humiliation with no economy. As false a hope for them as for you, they picked a mighty leaky vessel in Trump to put their faith.

The faster Ukraine gets nukes, the faster Ukraine gets free of Russia and North Korea and the Trumps and Vances of the world.

I agree with xyz, concessions have to be made for Russia's war to stop. Russia has to make those concessions, as there are none Ukraine can make that would end the war. Putin says so and acts so. Whatever Ukraine does, Russia will continue the fight. Should Ukraine fail, Russia absorbs them, and moves to their next victim. That's bad for everyone, and probably leads to WW3.

My conclusion is the shortest way out with the least dying is to prepare Ukraine against Putin, similar to how we prepared ourselves against Saddam. Best if Ukraine is at least as strong as we were, given Putin has a bigger army. Hint, we sent more than 40 tanks and 10 F16s. More like 4,000 and 1,000. And similar quantities of supporting resources.

They need men, the most. Our plan to,supply them and “degrade” Russia was always going to,fail unless we gave them what they needed to roll on Moscow, or send them fresh troops/cannon fodder.

It was doomed from the beginning and all this slava Ukraine hogwash is just that, no one will send their kids their or give up a day skiing.

Sooner or later, ukraime was going to get stiffed.

    Chamberlain saved the UK.

It has almost no military when the fools refer to him caving in. Same for USA.

He immediately ordered a call up and mobilization and with a yr my grandad, and two uncles had all enlisted together.

It’s the same fucking situation. Ukraines army is worn out, a ceasefire, in my opinion benefits Ukraine the most. Not to mention what else we can sneak in there, peace keepers etc.

But nothing will happen until the bag man steps down.

Step down so Elon can try to get a fascist elected instead?
Or because he hurt trumps feelings?
Or maybe he should keep doing what he’s doing because that’s what his people actually want him to do.

Thank God Cono's grandad and two uncles have enlisted in Ukraine. If only the bravery could be passed down.

Cono’s relatives who enlisted in the British Army during WW2 are dumbfucks, didn’t they know after the British got their asses kicked at Dunkirk that there was no chance Britain could ever win the war ?

Cono must look like a pretzel by now.
Chamberlain believed that Britain didn't have the military or economic strength to effectively deter Germany.

He believed that negotiation and compromise were essential to maintain peace in Europe.

He believed that the British government could negotiate with Hitler in good faith.

He urged the strengthening of the Royal Air Force, realizing that Britain's historical bulwark, the English Channel, was no defense against air power.

One of conos extended flock of relatives invented the pretzel, but the Germans took the secret from him because conos relatives couldn't lick the Kaiser's boots fast enough. Cono is now trying to make up for him to gain at least some dictator's goodwill.

Can Russia stand up to a Europe very unified in its dedication to getting them out of Ukraine? I don't want WWIII, but I also don't want Russia playing the imperialist. I don't see why Russia would stop with Ukraine. History would indicate otherwise.

I thought Russia was weak running out of missles, pulling t-34’s out of museums?

I thought we could just “degrade” Russian military assets by feeding them Ukrainian lives.

What went wrong? I trusted you guys.

Russia is degraded and this is the time to stop them, so why do you want to give up now?

Cono is very concerned about Ukrainians dying, which is why he is so upset that they keep forcing those Russian tanks to drive to them and try to murder them

Maybe the Ukrainian people will decide they're done with the war and done with Zelensky. Until such a time it seems like they deserve support.
