Or vise versa. What we know for sure: the Kremlin believes their audience finds it credible that an assassin would travel to Russia with an official Azov Battalion ID to kill a low level propagandist. That should be insulting to a few of them. Should be.

Doesn't make it true, and I don't know this author's agenda. Kamil Galeev is a historian, anti-Russian, pro Ukraine, and thinks the western narratives are misinformed as they are based in western culture rather than Russian culture. Basically we as humans assume everyone is like us, and this causes us to overlook important cultural differences. Kamil tweets to explain differences and misinterpretations.
That’s some really crazy stuff at the end about how Alexander Dugin may have been involved with his daughters death. Crazy that the guy literally wrote about sacrificing one’s own children for the cause.

Yep. Harsh. Abrahamic even. In a more recent post, he doubled down on the idea that it's a message from Putin to the elites. And notes it occurred on the Yeltsin coup anniversary. (Though I say there's so many anniversaries the parallel rates near astrology for useful meaning)

Whether or not it applies in this instance, staged terrorist attacks are very much part of the Kremlin's gameplan:

    1. The Russian army kills innocent civilians en masse
    2. Terrorist attacks start happening in Russian cities
    3. Russia unites behind Putin who promises to stamp out terrorism
    4. The Russian army kills innocent civilians en masse

Today, Russia is commemorating & celebrating the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact: "Thanks to the Soviet-German non-aggression pact, the war began on strategically more advantageous borders for the Soviet Union." As with Ukraine, Russia invaded Poland on the pretext of helping protect a Slav minority.

I honestly don’t know how these types of explanations are supposed to make RUS seem more competent, not less - “no, our depots aren’t being hit by advanced weaponry, but they are a touch delicate when it comes to warm weather, or a soldier with a cigarette…”

Climate change is real. I suspected that eventually ammo depots, if not properly protected from summer heat might spontaneously combust. But now we have definitive proof that excess heat causes improperly stored ammo to go boom!

    Hawthorne Army Depot - Wikipedia
    Saudi desert caused trouble.

Somebody like Trent Telenko has a months-old Twitter thread discussing munitions and temperature as part of his logistics theme. He cites a Desert Storm example where a bunch of US Army antitank rockets went bad. Too hot out there for standard milspec. They didn't catch fire, but many failed to work at all. He talks about the army troubleshooting the problem and making various changes, including to the packaging. Also rags on the Rooskies for their haphazard storage, old-fashioned crates, and strictly manual material handling. E.g. Where Russia uses conscript labor, NATO puts stuff on a pallet and moves it with machines.

One takeaway may be that all armies have troubles. Another might be the Russian army is a step behind the others. E.g. others no longer use rape and pillage to motivate their forces.

The general upward trend seems to have started well before the current invasion, so ......?

Germany has been forced to admit it was a terrible mistake to become so dependent on Russian oil and gas. So why did it happen?

    Corruption:

    - Gazprom et al spent lavishly (billions) corrupting German politics, including hundreds of millions donated to SPD “environmental foundations”

    - Former German Chancellor Schröder, along with many other German politicians, became very rich in the process of creating Germany’s dependence on Russian energy

    - German politicians and civil servants were allowed to move seamlessly between public office and Putin’s employment, and worked hard to manipulate the EU and German regulatory environment to suit Gazprom

    - The German-Russian industrial lobby, funded by German companies active in Russia, helped suborn and corrupt the German political class

    As a result:

    - Germany ignored Nato warnings about overreliance on Russian gas

    - Germany rejected nuclear power and now has very few alternatives to Russian gas

    - Germany advocates change through trade. However, the policy of Ostpolitik or transforming authoritarian countries through trade is failure

-Germany has an ongoing dispute with the United States over withholding trade with Russia. For +fifty years European business has gone the opposite direction as America

    - “For thirty years, Germans lectured Ukrainians about fascism,” ... “When fascism actually arrived, Germans funded it, and Ukrainians died fighting it”

    - German politicians admit they messed up. German president Frank-Walter Steinmeier admits he misread Russia’s intentions as he pursued the construction of a new undersea gas pipeline. “My adherence to Nord Stream 2 was clearly a mistake”

    - The West should not trade with enemies of democracy. Germany is funding Russia's war of aggression and genocide on Ukraine

Why do you support the corruption of European politics and Russian acts of genocide with your investments?

First of all, my investments were made z cutie of years ago.

Second, if you buy shares from somebody, you're not supporting the company. They are not getting a penny out of my buying their shares on the open market.

The only time they would benefit is at the time when they sell additional shares to raise capital.

Weren't you giving a tutorial on how to evade sanctions a few months ago?

Also, by investing you are essentially endorsing the company with your purchase. It raises the value of the company for the next purchaser, helps them generate liquidity, etc. Sorry the blood on your hands prevented you from googling the rapes in ukraine by russian conscripts over time chart.

The crazy thing about the extent of Russia's corruption of European energy policy is not only the fact Europe (and Germany specifically) has its own resources, but Gazprom wasn’t filling the massive natural gas storage facilities in Germany, which are supposed to fill when demand is low during warm months, because the facilities were sold to Gazprom ahead of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

I'd like to get in on this, it sounds lucrative.

Before I do, can you tell me how you ensured that the shares you bought weren't being sold by the company, government, Pootin-allied oligarch or the Russian central bank? Also, who runs the open market? I'd like to make sure my investments don't go to zero if the Duma decides to nationalize these important assets. TIA!
