Russians are flying from St Petersburg to Washington DC right now. Avoiding airspace restrictions. You can track the flight.

By re-posting you're showing you belong to that group.

Specifically: there are many different takes on the Azov battalion, particularly more recent ones, and none of that is addressed at all. Why? Because it weakens the propaganda. The statement that Western countries installed the current government in a coup should have been a clue that you were reading bullshit. Quit being a credulous cuck.
Ah, I see. You only approve of American propaganda. Carry on.

I only became a geopolitics expert this week but where does the Budapest Memorandum fit? UA gave up a stockpile of nuclear weapons for guarantees of recognition, peace, and security. USA was a signatory. Signing also made UA part of the NPT.

I'm no hawk. I can't imagine asking people to go fight for their lives. But it's a perverse injustice that a country with model leadership and citizenry in the face of the most dire circumstances is penalized for being exactly what USA and EU wants them to be.
    Are you referring to Ukraine?
Because it's the most corrupt country in Europe.

Im not the one making the assumption that “my coworkers” = all of china, much less the foolish error that there is “illegal” as a thing. There are people in prison for using a VPN. Keep up the tgr, bro

im stating that in any shitbag regime there are people who’ll get away with it, and others who’ll get caught and punished

As I'm sure you noticed, in China there's business VPN use and there's personal "seeing outside China" VPN use, and the numbers on those are not similar. I don't see Russia being able to cow every business into monitoring 24/7 to stop employees' illicit use, whereas companies that have a VPN through the great firewall live in fear.

It is corrupt. And much of the corruption comes from past entanglement with Russia, as that is how business is done in russia. This is a powerful reason to want to shift out of Russian sphere of influence. The ascension of Zelensky is widely seen as a solid effort on the part of the Ukrainian people to reduce corruption, strengthen the rule of law, and move closer to the West.
For an example of Ukraines drive to reduce corruption, look to the efforts of the past US administration to bribe the Ukrainians a few years ago, (remember a little phone call about dirt on political opponents in exchange for weapons?) They told the US president to pound sand. Resistance to corruption was demonstrated at the top level in Ukraine, while the opposite was true of the US.
    sigless.

Not really. Zelensky had to walk a fine line with that one, but, as usual, Trump did all the talking. It would be pretty hard for him to say, pound sand, considering the threat to the north and east.

BB couldn't agree more. We are seeing corruption in Iowa with Republicans having full power. Bids going to friends. Incompetent people running our universities. Connections mean more than compentence. It is why we are backsliding into shithole state territory.

Russian Gunship Heli downed today. Of course, always the question if it is real. Lots of verification that this is probably real. Costs keep going up for Russia.

I see that you are not familiar with living in Illinois, New Jersey, and New York, just to name a few. It's hardly a Republican thing. How do you think Pelosi is worth a hundred mil?

The Clinton foundation bribed her. What other explanation is there?

Didn't Hillary spend time with Putin as foreign Minister? I mean I can count two plus two!

I live right next to Illinois and spend my winter weekends there. So I'm familiar. Unchecked power sucks under any umbrella. You probably aren't familiar with how balanced the power has been in Iowa over the last 80 years. And thus we have traditionally been a very non corrupt state.

Putin says economic sanctions by the west are akin to declaration of war. Buckle up! Hopefully I can get one more pow day before the end times but this storm just isn’t producing in LCC.

If he is suicidal we are fucked. If he isn't, he knows if he pokes the bear he loses.

So we wait. And his embarrassment in Ukraine and isolation mounts.

basinbeater nailed it. I am talking about UA, their trajectory as a country, and their response to current events. They want to be aligned with Europe and are working toward it by all accounts, not the least of which is the RU invasion.

I sure hope so. Only the end result will tell. I do not envy the position the world leaders are in right now. Russia doesn't respond to half-assed measures. No dictator does. They also are pricks about when you actually decide to take them on. The best solution is probably going to have to be from within. Enter the Russian billionaires who are prolly pretty pissed at Putin right now.

Then the claim that it is 2014. When drones that could get that video did not exist.

Also, I saw someone had geolocated it. Very compelling evidence. But it is the fog of war.

They'll still be denying it when the satellite image shows the black scar. Of all the recent Russian exports, delusion is the most popular.

I have it from a VERY un named source (that I just happened to be talking to on the phone when it went down) that its true based on real time satellite coverage. The US war machine is keeping a very close eye on the going’s on, you know in case they would like to know capability’s of the current soviet equipment and shit

Of all the surprising aspects of this the one I still can't get past is the risk/reward of showing his hand to the US and the Chinese. Even what goes well--maybe especially that.
