Any Front Range Maggots wanna make $$$ this weekend?

I need (2) guys to help me with an interior paint job this weekend in Erie, CO.

Experience painting is helpful. More important is the willingness to bust your ass and the need to make $15 cash an hour.

We meet at my place near 44th and Sheridan in Denver at 6:30am. I will not wait for lateness and I will leave you behind if you are still drunk from the night before - Sorry, but I have to appear professional to my customers.

I do top notch work in a professional manner. I will take care of the stuff that requires skill (cutting in) while you take care of masking and rolling. If you are skilled painter, then I will let you have right at it alongside me.

The work is not incredibly hard but requires patience. I will call you out if the work is not up to my standards because I have to, but if you work hard and pay attention to detail I am very laid back. I am respectful, I will not micromanage, and I will peel out the cabbage as soon as I get paid. We drink beers after, not during the work day.

This is a great opportunity to make some money to buy your pass, skis, USSA card to ramp with Brett, whatever.

This will be going down the weekend of 9/10, if I get the job.

Z, you have first dibs on a spot if you are free and still interested, since I talked to you first.

Serious inquiries post reply or PM.

    Thanks, Rob

So, if I earn some money, can I ramp with someone besides Brett? Is that OK?

All weekend, but if you want to fill just a day, I'm down with that seeing as how you have experience. Let me know, and PM your # if you want in. Also, if you are in Boulder, I can pick you up at a better location for you.

I'm glad that I know what your name means now - it has been a mystery beyond my simple brain.

Will do, thanks for the interest, let me know if you want it. If not, no sweat. I am still not certain I will get the job until tomorrow anyway.

Also testing to see if there are maggots out there who need work and have any experience or interest in in the kind of stuff that comes my way.

Right on, dude. I am still not sure I'll get it anyhow. And I don't blame you for wanting to ramp instead of paint. That's pretty much a no brainer. I might end up there myself if I don't get the job.

Yeah, dude - Why do you think the other end of a paint can opener (aka Church Key) is always a bottle opener? We're also usually good for a joint or two of the most un-dank or dirty mersh! I've seen carpenters puffin' j's inside a huge job right at their chop saws while making a cut.

You definitely find some colorful characters on construction sites.

Man, i could use the money for sure...but waking up at 6:00 on both days of the weekend is rough for a stupid college kid like myself...

My last boss was an insane hard worker....we painted our balls off on a huge victorian home on the east coast...big money job....pressure washed it all..grinded off 8 layers of paint...belt sanded every inch of the outside, then hand sanded every inch of the outside, then primed the whole thing, then sprayed duration on the whole thing, then painted all the windows and trim by hand with duration(super expensive paint)

fucking house was huge and my boss would be on the tallest ladder about 50 feet up going nutso with a pressure washer and shit baked out of his mind....leaning way off of scaffolds with a saw-zall cutting though bolts and shit....

i dont know how he is still alive!
